Re: Harry Potter
The books were an engrossing read, but a bit overhyped when it came to the releases of the last books.
Re: Harry Potter
I couldn't stop reading the books.
I've read the last 3 books. Man the last one was so much awesome!

Re: Harry Potter
Ha, I loved Harry...
As I've said in the Word Gallery at least once, Harry Potter was probably the first series I ever read that was truly world-class and at my level since Dr. Seuss (at age two). The last book was really everything I ever wanted in a story... if anything I write seems to bear a resemblance to the ending thereof, there's a very good reason for that. (I know for a fact that Jo Rowling came up with that ending working from some of the same influences I have...)

But the movies are good too, now that I have mostly-forgotten most of the subplots in the books, I can't complain about not seeing them in the movie, so the movies seem better!
I read the first book in first grade, thats why I'm "academically achieved."

Re: Harry Potter
I'm not a fan of the genre, but I guess the books were alright. The first movie was the only good one for me though.
