kaotic wrote:@Walt We did want peace, I understand your point but we also wanted to rip up there only home, which is shelter to like, a million Na'vi, for some mineral which we greedy humans wanted for money.
Imagine you lived in a huge mansion with your friends and everyone you liked and everything was perfect.
But then the Swat team comes in, with tanks and planes and everything and they try to get you to move out of your mansion, so they can make a mine there for underearth substances.
I doubt you would move happily, or even move at all.
you hit the nail on the head
Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
Whatever. But if what they explained is correct the tree is connected to the whole forest and the Na'vi are connected to it as well. I don't know how it would end up after the tree got toasted and I wonder where they would go after the movie concluded.

Yes, Pocahontas copy. I thought the same thing. We don't love it for the overused story though, we just like the graphics and special effects XD

I liked the story .__. I thought it was great every aspect of the movie
Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
Well, I have seen that exact story hundreds of times Icey. Princess Mononoke, Pocahontus, the list is huge. Its a good story and all, but we have seen it before and it begins to get dull.

True maybe I dont mind that much because I tend to notice the details that make them different then the overall picture that are alike.

We'll kill each other at the same time. It was good, but 6 minutes of extra film? Are they really trying to scam us into that?

Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
meh if you dont like that idea then dont see it thats what Im gonna do Id just wait to rent it or something.
Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
It's a visual movie, they most definitely put more money into effects than they did script/plot. It's eye candy.

Uh.... yup, haven't you ever been to an American electronics store? They sell a new version of: The Complete Edition of Star Wars every 3 months or so, usually on the basis that it has a shiny new box and a slightly improved sound system.

Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
Re-releasing with an extra 6 minutes? ... I can't really see why that's necessary, I don't really expect the 6 minutes to be anything outrageously different.
Not really sure how a sequel would play out either, though I am curious about how the few selected humans living on the Pandora(?) find food and enough oxygen. But yeah, no. I don't really need to watch another film based around those two details. =p

Re: Avatar (not the Last Airbender)
It's just Jake (who is no longer really human) and his buddy, the dude whose avatar was killed in battle. (Why can't I remember his name? He was one of the main characters...)
And, Zeo? LOL!
