Cover Art Contest!

As many of you know, I'm starting a new comic book around my new superhero, SuperNova.
This contest is for the COVER ART of the first comic.
The contest is simple. Create a comic book cover with your own rendition of the character in a cool pose, possibly with some fire. His name in large letters and the title "Into the Flames" on it.
First place: Gets their art used as the cover, duhhh.
Second place: Gets a character cameo appearance
Third place: Gets a pat on the back.

Few things you need to do before this competition goes on.
1: For starters, who is Supernova? What era is he in? What is a basic idea of what he LOOKS like?
2: Deadline, obvs
3: Do you need it inked/Flashed or will hand drawn versions do?
