Dragon Age
Hey, I downloaded Dragon Age Origins a few months ago and I'm finally getting around to playing it. I know Argentis is also a fan, but is anyone else?
I named my character Winnie (but who didn't see that one coming) and she's a human rogue. What about you guys?

Re: Dragon Age
Oh yeah, I loved DA:O. It's been a long time so I don't remember it that well, but I remember it fondly. Dragon Age 2 though... no.

Re: Dragon Age
What actually is Dragon Age? I'm assuming some kind of 3rd person adventure RPG in the same vein as the elder scrolls. Am I entirely out in left field? Is it worth getting involved with it as a series?
Re: Dragon Age
Dragon Age is an RPG set in a similar setting to Elder Scrolls. I think it focuses a lot more on the story of the game and makes you really feel like the character you play as. Lots of moral choices and creating relationships with party members, kind of like Mass Effect. You level up a class for your character and different abilities to use for each of your four characters on your team, and it lets you swap between them whenever.
Also don't play the second. Dragon Age 2 is just the worst.

Re: Dragon Age
One thing that's disappointing is the noticeable lack of Dragons thus far. I mean, they're in some places, but there aren't that many. The only full-scale dragon that I've found had to be summoned, and then I killed it.
I feel like I may be contributing to the rapid extinction of dragons in this game.

Re: Dragon Age
There are more dragons in late game if i recall correctly, not so many large ones as there are dragonlings though. Definitely a dark fantasy setting, emphasis on dark. I'd recommend getting all of the DLC if at all possible, really adds to the story.
