AE's Drawing Contest

"COMING SOON: New Drawing Contest!
Attention all you artists out there! A new contest is on its way, and if you happened to have read the above subtitle, then you already know what it’s about: Drawing! So get your pens, pencils, erasers, paper, quills, and finger paints ready… we cannot wait to see your masterpiece!
But not yet. Because the Contest isn’t up on the Forums. It soon will be… right after we finish fighting this war!
And with any contest, you know there is going to be an awesome prize. Well, prizes, since we can never seem to pick just one winner. Because you are all winners to us =D"
Being that I'm probably the most excited about this, I figured I should start this topic. Anyone else ready to draw their tails off? Any thoughts/comments can go here :D

It'll be intense competition, at the very least. Let's hope that I can use my precious Photoshop. I'd be devastated if I couldn't.

Well, knowing AE there will be plenty of winners :) That's the best reward. I wouldn't say I'm reserved a spot. If the theme is say... Lycan, I can't do it.

(1) I would enter, thinking my picture is relatively acceptable
(2) Curious, I flick through some of the other entries
(3) Each time I see an entry, a part of my confidence in my art dies
I really hope AE makes distinctive guidelines and rules for this competition. Look at the Cookie Contest, for example. It was called the Cookie Contest and yet you were allowed to make any kind of dessert. In the end, no cookies won the Cookie Contest. Made it difficult to judge the entries, in my opinion. It's like comparing the entries from a hand-drawn contest to a Flash/Photoshop one.
