Farming..... oh God the farming

I'm farming for random things like rep, quest etc and I realize: HOLY TROMBONES ON A POGO STICK THIS IS BORING!

so, what're your thoughts on farming? any tricks to keep off the boredom?

...Farming? What sensible pet collector would do something so ridiculous? Really, I don't farm at ALL. No rep farming, no exp farming, no gold farming and no quest item farming. I'm hardcore when it comes to laziness. :P Erm, listening to music is supposed to pass the time though.

I try to do things as efficiently as possible. Like when I used to dwakel gold farm I'd use a shop page inside the news so I could sell without having to switch rooms and switch back. Or, if you need to rep farm, accept every quest at once, and turn in whenever you finish one. Work on dailies and nondailies at the same time.

I actually ENJOY farming; I do it for the fun of the thing...

But then again, I do it for the fidget. It's fun to get a dozen quests on the same monsters and do them all at the same time, gives me time to write in my mind. And I listen to music while I do it.

Some things help but not that much. You just got to muscle through it, try to think about what you are farming for and how you will enjoy all that entails to cope.

Don't do it. Don't like it either. Don't even play the game as well. I've wasted countless hours of my life with it. Something I wished I never did. T_T

farming might be fun if Guild/Clan Feature is in the game. so you farm with guildies/clan mates :D

Anyone have tips on making it more interesting for people to play (ie: using items to fight monsters, called a magic wand quest, or a new sort of way to play like WoW raiding where group composition mattered and you actually had to do stuff other than spam your abilities, perhaps make more abilities+ranks).
