The non-member Dark Wolf was removed on November 15th, I think. I've been told it was removed in November or December by varied sources but Ghostly Sheet was removed before that due to Mogloween ending.

Can't think of names right now, but in response to this:

"What defines the rarity of an item?"

I think rarity has two different meanings in AQW: (a) It's categorized as a rare item and is hard to obtain/cannot be obtained ever again or (b) An item you rarely see being used in-game.

Most of the time, items which fall under definition (a) tend to be overused/bought by many players simply for the rarity tag. People differ when it comes to what items they perceive as rare, though their opinions generally fall under these two definitions.

These are what I characterize as rare because they are unachievable at any single moment, and not many people use them.

I have almost all the dragons in the game from when it started either in my bank or inventory. I have the ghostly sheet 08' too ;)
Frost scythe fo cruelty 08' (By far the coolest made weapon in the game)
Bloodgrove, bloodriver? Star sword break, dragonwings of destiny, Cane of greed!

Claws's hood 08' Like a boss!
Necro- Guardian shadow back item..

Many more in my bank that i was to lazy to look at since im farming for sisnster pumpkin pet :P

So. I log in for the hell of it, and what do I find?
My Undead Plague Spear or whatever is of "unknown rarity", the only thing I have besides that are the Beta Berserker, Green Cape and some stupid cape that I don't even care about(along a wyvern pet that I recall was paying member-only).

And then I found out that my spiffy hat that I adored is not ingame anymore, so my character graphics don't load.

Best game ever.

I have no idea. It's not listed in my Helm inventory anymore, but apparently it's saved on my equip list, it tries to load it up but NOPE. I would have to buy a new hat to get my graphics back, but I don't even play the game so whatever.

It was still amusing.

EDIT: I actually found a screenshot of my alpha character. Or beta. Whatever.

Maybe the hat that own't load is an alpha haircut? You could choose a helmet for a hairstyle at Yulgar's Inn for a short time.

I have no idea. Also, I just decided to check again what the error message was. Joined one of the canned-chat servers, SUDDENLY THERE IS NO PROBLEM AND MY CHARACTER LOADS FINE(god that running animation looks awkward).

Oh well. If I played the game, I might be overjoyed. But I don't, so yeah. I guess that hat bug was just an one-time thing then.
