Serious Topics

Over the years, we have had a lot of laughs around here at TR, we frenquently enjoy bad games, trolling each other, doing art and other general recreational activities.
Sometimes though... something more serious comes to our attention, and we may want to attract attention to it for varying reasons, thus I have created this thread.
This is for generally talking about and posting more important things, things that you actually want people to pay attention to and not make jokes around, this is... the Serious Buisness Topic.
Basically, the idea is as follows: you can post something important that caught your eye and anyone can comment on it, however, as this would be for important things, do try not to make jokes or post silly things, the usage of this topic implies you can go five seconds without trolling out upsetting people.

I will go first: It was revealed that the village in ''Borat'' was a small settlement out of the way in Romania, the residents spoke no english, and were tricked into doing degrading things for the movie, most of which they had no idea of at the time, they simply belived it was a documentary on their lives. At the end of it all, the movie crew left the village in a serious mess and the residents were only paid 3 Euro's each for the whole thing, the movie made 27 million.
