^^^ A different style of navbar buttons for my remade TR layout. Which do you prefer; http://www.trforums.com/h2-darre-s-code or something similar to what is above? The lighted part would show up if you were hovering your mouse over it in the new part.

Now I found out how to make it undetectable. So no moar from me.
On another note, I'll be 14 in a month, so I'll lose my "I'm only 13, I have a reason that I'm a horrible animator" excuse. I MUST IMPROVE EXPONENTIALLY BY THEN IF POSSIBLE. Dx
Note: He is NOT naked. It is just the Nebulae Character Base graphics.

I prefer the style of the first, much more definitive.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Although I don't particularly like the first one I will either revise it or the new one to make it have a tinge of a similar style but keep the "definitive" aspect.

Darre, I perfere the second set, but I'd rather colors that fit better with TR's theme. There's almost no dark gray in the forum.

Also, Weena. Already saw the animation, and it looks spectacularistic, but I was wondering why "Def. Stance" Makes him put his gun away, take out a new gun and shoot something.

Also Darre, would you mind making a tutorial or something about how to image map? I've seen it done a bit but I really like how it works and I'd enjoy finding out how.

If you view the page source you should be able to figure it out.

How exactly do I find certain coordinates? Is there a program or is it built into photoshop or what?

Well, actually, the gun he puts away is just the base graphics for an offhand item. In Neb, that item will vary and some times you might not even have an offhand item equipped. So... yeah.

And ooh, Darre/Tim web making or w/e competition. Dunn dunn duuuuuuuunn.

As for finding certain coordinates, I haven't used Photoshop in months, so I don't really know. Sorry. D:

I think so, but I'd rather not count 200 pixels before reaching my destination.

Also, I see, Weena. So like, that gun could be swapped out for a shield or something as well?

Also, sort of off topic, but can you confirm if Nebulae or Mani will have extra items like rings or necklaces that add to your stats?

Then use the selector tool on an art program, starting at the 0,0 and measuring to the 2 points (if said art program is any good it will say how big the selection is).

Or maybe Darre has a different way that makes me look silly.

Actually I do.

1. Right click in GIMP, Filters>Web>Image Map.
2. Use rectangle or free select tool to select areas you want image mapped.
3. Once selected a new window will popup requesting a link. Enter it.
4. When done with all your links save as .html not.map or whatever it wants you to.
5. Go to View>Source. Copy that.
6. Open notepad, or wordpad or in my case gedit Text Editor.
7. Paste and replace Untitled with the link for where the image is hosted.

Aeon, that looks bawss so far. I really like the shading on the gems, but not so much the handle.

Also, thanks Darre ^_^ Until I get PS on my mac, I'll be using gimp. I think I might take a crack at making some buttons ;D

@Aeon Nice work, but your shadow perspectives don't really match. Your gem is suggested a light coming from the northeast, while the wooden handle looks like there's an centered light shining directly on it. Try making the handle look like it has the same light source?

Ah, well either way, it looks awesome. Also, because after looking at V's avi I realized mine sucked, I also made a new avi. Uploading it now.

There we are. Still a little sketchy with gimp but I really like how it came out.
