I got abused in route 1 and I ragequitted because I couldn't move my charmander. Also ash doesn't exist in red or blue, he wasn't born yet. That or he had already left the region.

Then why was one of the predefined names I could pick for my character in the Blue version "Ash" and for the opponent "Gary" ?

What. One sec reading up on that. I know for a fact that Ash was NOT in Red or blue, or at least the same Ash in the anime.


EDIT: I honestly don't know. I only read for a second but I'm pretty sure Pokemon Red and Blue were made before the anime, so I don't know why they would have those names as predefined. I'm guessing they had an idea for them to be Ash and Gary but I'm 100% sure they aren't the same person. The person you play as in Pokemon Red/Blue is named Red and your Rival is Blue. The other names are just alternatives if you didn't want the originals.

Of course I could be completely wrong here.

This is sick, I've got a lv. 14 Pikachu, lv. 17 Charmelion (whatev) lv. 13 Pidgey, Beedrill, mankey and Spearow.
The rest are stupid like Jigglypuff and Nidoran.

I'm just getting FPS:0 on there. Is it because of Chrome? Or is my internet just being mean?

This problem isn't surface deep, looked on another website, didn't work there, didn't work on Internet Explorer... any ideas? I assume FPS:0 means 0 frames per second...


Figured it out, needed a more recent version of flash. Starting to play now.

Tips.
I need more money! The best place to farm money is Viridian Forest. 2P - 10P per kill.

I need more experience! The best farming place is Route 3, easy to kill. 30 waves. (No money rewards, free roam zone.)

Stuck at Viridian Forest? Easy, catch two Kakuna's, and set their attack to String shot. Put one on either side of the top of the maps. This will slow things down, making it easier to kill the Pikachu trio or catch the earlier random Pikachu. (Recomend.)

Kao, nice tips, I used some pretty similar. I also noticed Brock's Gym will be difficult if Viridian Forest gave you trouble, so if anyone needs help, try to get your Kakuna evolved and set the new Beedrill to fury attack, or raise a caterpie to get a butterfree with a powerful confusion attack.

I have a similar team to Kao's, except much better and around 17-18's.

Charmeleon, Pidgeotto, Pikachu, Manky, Nidorino, and a level 15 Butterfree soon to be replaced.
