Yeah because it's obviously idiotic to cater to a rather big part of your fanbase.

The basic idea is to show the Pyro as being so insane and messed up that it sees the world as full of music and lolipops and happy babies, even while killing people horribly. Thus the inner world is made to look as sickeningly cute as possible. It's not made directly for the bronies, and companies don't do that, one of the basic ideas of making commercials is to cater to as many people as possible. But things like internet fads are treated with extreme caution, because it's just as easy to scare off people: you don't have any numbers for this sort of thing. It's the same reason it took Blizzard ten years to make a Chuck Norris commercial, this sort of thing is just not risked.

I'm not saying that the commerical doesn't cater to the cutesy loving bronies, just that it's not intended to cater to them, it's not even considered. And for good reason. If you think it is, then that means you are probably seeing ponies everywhere, go see a psychiatrist.
