Re: Books!
who has read the book "trolls of decay and pillage"? Probably a bit too mature for my age, full of gore, violence, romance, glorified battling and so on.
Re: Books!
Personally, I enjoy the Green Rider series.
I like the story
It follows the adventures of Karigan, a girl who is thrown into a small turmoil that leads her to becoming a Green Rider, messengers of the King.
However, dark times are ahead, as the Wall that guards against the dark forest begins to lose its power due to the actions of an interloper.

Has anyone read the saga of the seven suns? Great seven book saga. I recommend it for those who enjoy sci-fi books.

Re: Books!
you mean those cat books?
Hehe. I've been reading a lot of books that are (i think?) advanced for my age. (On the other hand, everyoen in my class is extremely un-advanced and is reading books I could polish off in 1 sitting... The city of ember.... soooo short....)

Re: Books!
I love reading, I have a reading age of a 16 year old or something.
And I DID read about 4 books in 3 days, all were pretty big.

Re: Books!
Some of my faves from Highschool:
All Creatures Great and Small, and others in the book series by James Herriot
White Fang; To Light a Fire, The Sea Wolf, short stories by Jack London
The Tracker by Tom Brown
The Narnia Series, C. S. Lewis
The Railroad Children, E. Nesbit
The Dragonlance Series, Margeret Weis and Tracy Hickman
Rascal, Stirling North
The Earthsea trilogy, Ursula K. LeGuin
LoTR, of course, and The Silmarillion, JRR Tolkein
Where The Red Fern Grows, don't remember (always cry at the end, even now)
The Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Pride and Prejudice; Emma, Jane Austen
Little Women; Little Men, Louisa May Alcott
The Jungle Book, Rudyard Kipling
A Story Like the Wind; A Far Off Place, Laurens Van Der Post
Spring Moon, Bette Bao Lord
Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain
I love books that take me to another time and place, but were real too, I love being transported and living in someone's shoes in a different time and culture. Fantasy is fun, but reality can be even more amazing in a way, when it isn't your reality...
Favorite modern fantasy series: Lord of The Isles series, David Drake ( He puts his characters in the coolest, most outlandish situations, I love it)

I just finished 'Cell' by Steven King, in 1 night and a morning, so Yay me, but now I'm stuck on a cliff hanger and there's no second book T_T
Re: Books!
It is a good series.
I've now gotten back into books, I just finished 3 Christopher Pike books in about 2 days.
Eat it!
