So yeah. I've had this idea for a while now about making a Pokemon game in RPG Maker set in the world of TR with a readable storyline to accompany it. You know what lets just share the PM I sent Pere.

So I had an awesome idea a few weeks ago and I want your help to make it even better.

I want to make a Pokemon game set in the world of TR, using the characters from our stories as gym leaders, elite 4, etc. And I want to have a readable story go along with it.

What I have so far is some awful sketches, RPG maker VX, and a loose storyline of what would happen if Pokemon were in the world of TR.

Basically, two years in the future, an experiment to explore other dimensions goes wrong, and Mewtwo and Mew are brought to the land of TR, destroying the roof to TR tower as they escape into the world. Mew and Mewtwo then populate the world of TR with pokemon in a flash of light. V catches a Leafeon and declares himself pokemon professor and champion. And of course, he appoints his inner circle as gym leaders:

Psychic - Cial
Dark - Ryzaa
Grass - Kao
Normal - Winnie
Ice - Tim
Water - Erik
Fire - Rage
Fighting -Flaw

But all is not well, a team of rebels known as "Team Atomic"

>Atom Bomb
>Nukes
>Nukia)
plans to use the pokemon to stage a hostile takeover of TR. Our hero needs to defeat the 8 gyms, beat the Elite 4, Kick V's Leafeon's butt, become king of TR and defeat Team Atomic.

So if anyone has any ideas or if they want to change their character's gym let me know.

Thanks. I've been working pretty hard on it. Trying to re-imagine a lot of memes of the Pokemon universe. For example, PokeTR's Psychic gym will stop feeling like a ghost gym and more of a Sigmund Freud themed area.

You are in the Elite 4. Mostly I've been focusing on developing me, because it's easier for me to focus on myself first, but I have laid a few outlines for other characters. The Elite 4 ATM is Me, Ryzaa, You and Icey.

I really like this Psychic gym thing the more I get into it though. You see my gym will be Inception-themed, where the player enters a dream state to challenge the gym, thus transporting him/her to a large dream-castle place that serves as the actual gym itself. Then once the Elite 4 is challenged, I'll be located in a psychiatrist's office, with the couch and ink blot paintings, etc.

Cial Gym Leaders can't be in hte elite four and have a gym.

yea gym leaders can only be elite 4 members of other games

Sounds cool. ~~In the interests of not making the game too easy, I should be rock type. While water does describe me well, it would require a more varied team if I were rock.~~ Also, I hope we can pick our pokemon for our gyms.

Since Tom is unable to even relay simple messages, let me clear this up a bit:

Pere's comp is broken and it takes a few weeks to fix, so until that happens don't expect him to do anything.

Yo Cialses, we need to know how many to have and what general level so we know evolutions and shiznit based on what gym we are.

Well for gyms, around 4 pokemon per team, I'll worry about levels later, but try to choose 1st stage evolutions.

I have, but I figure that if people choose 1-2 stage evos, and their gym ends up being one of the higher levels, then they can be evolved higher as neccsary.
