I have a question about contributions Empty I have a question about contributions

Post by ateras360 Sat Dec 06, 2008 5:11 am

I was wondering with over 80 members if theres a possibility to make contributions through PayPal or PayByCash to help pay for trips or possibly a private server/new website ect....
If every member chipped in $10 in one month theres $800 to start a building block.
As a former CSS Admin we made enough to send 14 people on gaming events.
I know this is a touchy subject. I'm only throwing the idea out there.
I noticed the Admin here is extremley quick at responces and I would like everyones outlook on this subject.

With the lack of security on a fresh new website such as this, I don't think this should be an issue until MUCH later on in the months. As far as funding, I highly doubt people will be willing to donate to a simple forum like this just to help people we don't really know get some extra pocket cash. Not saying that the people on here are mistrustworthy, but It's just a risk some can't take.

Although I thank you for thinking about this, I think for now we're fine like we are.
Eventually I might look into a domain name, but are site is doing fine without any donations.
So, for now, I'd say no. But thank you for your concern. =)
Ps- If you have some experience is CSS, or have any sugestions of how to make this layout a little better, don't be afraid to dorp me a PM =)
