An RP about Randomness

The red blob that Ryzaa saw was morphing into different shapes. The shocked teenagers could see a red pony morphing into a gargoyle, and the gargoyle showed sharp fangs as the vampire licked his thin lips, his skin as red as a ripe tomato. Looking at the vampire himself had sent chills down Rose's spine, and she gasped when the vampire disappeared, leaving a red imp staring at them with hunger shining in its eyes.

Uh-oh.

Bad, bad, bad.

It was carrying an average-sized fork which, as Rose thought, was too small for him to be a weapon but a perfect item for him to feast on them. If Ryzaa didn't think up ways to escape soon, they would be ending up as delicious, roasted humans with tender meat, sprinkled with whatever spices the imp liked. Rose shuddered as she wrapped her arms around herself. Imagining yourself being cooked and eaten is not exactly the best choice, especially when the hunter is in front of you.

"Ryzaa..." This was the first (unsure) time that she called his name ever since the "touching" meeting.

"Uhm...what are we going to do?"

"Uhoh.. that doesn't look good.. and it's climbing.." Ryzaa looked worried.

"Oh great. What now? Probably it wants us to be roasted, fried, steamed, boiled, or whatever ways it could cook us," Rose looked half afraid, half annoyed about Ryzaa not helping her.

The imp was getting closer now, and saliva was dripping from the corner of its mouth. The girl wrinkled her brows as she fanned the air in front of her.

"Phew...it stinks so much that I can sniff it from right here when he's over there," she said, covering her nose with a torn sleeve. "I'm willing to bet that people at 5 miles away can sniff it strongly."

Seeing that the imp was getting closer, Rose had no choice but to back away from the imp. She saw Ryzaa standing on the spot and dragged him along with her too.

"Wake up, Ryz...if we don't act soon we are going to be goners!"

Ryzaa didn't move, "We're not goners.. That is not an imp, I tell you I know that smell anywhere."
"That, is the smell of Demi's cooking, I still have no idea how he could beat he with his food smelling like that! But yeah.."

"What?!" Rose said still covering her nose with her sleeve, "you're telling me, that that is your friend?"

"Yup, awful smell isn't it?" he said with a grin.
"DEMI! TURN AROUND!"

With that, the 'imp' turned around revealing the face of Demi the supreme chef, his red hat no longer resembling an animal of any shape or form or imp, his blue gear tattered and in ruins, looking a mess, yet, he still waved a sign of greeting.

"Lets move" Ryzaa started to head towards the step, which involved walking all around the other side of the peak.
Rose watched him at first, then quickly followed him.

They reached the step in a matter of moments, Demi had set up camp and was cooking.
"What revolting thing have you put in the pot now?" Ryzaa questioned jokingly.
"And fix up your hat, poor Rosey here was thinking it an imp."
"...And come to mention it.. how did you get out of that cave?"


(This is pretty much the same way it happened in 'PK's Adventure' too, except he wasn't a chef =P)

"Hey guys!" greeted Demi as he fixed his hat. "I'm sorry if I scared you, I usually wear my hat like this incase there are any nearby wild animals."

"I got out of the cave by mixing some of my left over magic dust with some of the cave rocks, which caused a big explosion, making an exit for me."

Ryzaa and Rose looked puzzled when they looked at Demi's pot of food. "What are you cooking, Demi?" asked Rose.

"I found a toad and a lizard, so I threw them in this boiling pot of water." said Demi as he scratched his head wondering how his meal will turn out. "If it taste good, you can all have some!"

Ryzaa and Rose were not looking forward to the dish, but they were hungry. "I guess we could stay Demi. Is that fine with you Rose?" asked Ryzaa.

"Its fine, I'm a hungry myself so I don't mind eating what Demi is making." said Rose as she tried to avoid inhaling the foul stench coming from the pot.

"I think its just about done!" exclaimed Demi. "Let me just try a little and see if its just right."

Demi picked up his wooden spoon on his side, and took a sample of his soup. "It's just right!" said Demi as he coughed with a look on his face as if he was about to throw up.

"It has a special kick that just makes your stomach turn."


"Oh..where are you heading next, Demi?" asked Ryzaa.

"I'm not sure, Ryzaa." answered Demi. "I just travel these lands to find any new ingredients I can use to make special dishes."

"Where are you both heading? and I know you're both hungry so I'll make you both a bowl of this soup."

"No Demi.. I'll make us both a bowl of soup, I know you always carry your spices with you. Chuck 'em here!"

Demi threw the spices at Ryzaa only just missing his head, which he then cought with the skill of someone falling over their own foot.

"Now I just add a bit of this.. and a bit of that.. Done!"

The pot no longer smelt bad, actually it had no smell at all.

"Mmm.. Rosey taste this"

"Uhm..."

Rose stared at the pot, then at Ryzaa and Demi. She was hungry, probably could wolf down a cow, but the cow reminded her of the undead cow. A chill went down her spine as she shuddered mentally, trying to shake the image off.

"Well...alright."

She took a ladle and stirred the soup for a while before lifting it, trapping some soup while her face edged towards the ladle, her hand tipping it slightly so that the soup could flow into her mouth. The girl only took a sip and she tried to taste whatever the taste of the soup was.

"Mmm...quite delicious. I think I'll have some more."

"That is great, Rose!" said Demi while making Rose a bowl of his soup. "Do you hear something?" said Ryzaa. "I hear a rumble."

An avalanche of rock fell from above. Rose and Ryzaa had no where to run. Demi stared at the avalanche, as it was coming closer. Demi reached into his magic pouch near his left pocket and quickly took at a small amount of magic essence. Demi threw the essence at the rocks, and shouted "Yawh!" The rocks crumbled and turned into breadcrumbs as they hit the floor. "I can use these for my next dish!" shouted Demi.

"Oh boy..I wonder how that will turn out." said Ryzaa sarcastically.

"Lets hope it will be better than this soup." said Rose.

"But wait..."

Rose stared at the breadcrumbs on the ground, then at Demi who was picking them up, throwing them absent-mindedly into another pot which miraculously appeared.

"What can breadcrumbs do? I mean...apart from being bird and fish food," she asked.

"We also feed them to rabbits" Ryzaa's eyes lit up. ()

Celstrial came out of nowhere and said "And to puppies!!!"

"What?! Puppies?? Yoy DO NOT feed breadcrumbs to puppies!" Ryzaa and Demi looked outraged at this sudden appearence of a stranger, "who are you and why are you here?"

The stranger stood silent, he didn't say a word, Demi thought about getting his 'Lasor Edge Mega-Frying Pan 6000'.

Celstrial answered to Ryzaa question"I am your father I shall come back and one day you will need me...."Celstrial then vanishes into thin air..... Ryzza and Demi were shocked at the statement Celstrial had said...

''uhh rose..rose??'' ryzaa said looking around for his companion
''she's down there '' said demi pointing downwards, and there she was, not dead, but fainted
