Fun Facts:
1. In England, the Speaker of the House is not allowed to speak.
2. On average people fear spiders more than death.
3. La Paz, the capital city of Bolivia, is the highest capital in the world at over 17,000 feet (5,181 m).
4. Flea's can jump 130 times higher than their own height. In human terms this is equal to a 6ft. person jumping 780 ft. into the air.
5. In 10 minutes, a hurricane releases more energy than all of the world's nuclear weapons combined.

If the entire population of China walked by you in a single-file line it would never stop due to the reproduction rate.

If an amount of hardly measurable mass of strange matter* touched anything on Earth, the whole world would eventually turn into strange matter.

*strange matter is quark matter** that is more stable than nuclear matter***.

**quark matter is any of a number of theorized phases of matter whose degrees of freedom include quarks and gluons.

***nuclear matter is an idealized system of interacting nucleons (protons and neutrons) that exists in several phases that as yet are not fully established.

Grey is the only English word that can be spelled and pronounced two different ways and have the same meaning; grey and gray.

The light from the sun takes over eight minutes to reach earth, thus; When you look at the sun, you're not seeing the sun, you're seeing the sun as it was eight minutes ago.

At the current rate that technology is advancing, we should be able to time travel and float around using anti-gravity in under twenty three years.

According to government records, the Roswell incident never happened, even thought it's discussed by hundreds of thousands of people every day.

If the sun were to explode we would experience 8 minutes after it exploded. o.o

Flea's can jump 130 times higher than their own height. In human terms this is equal to a 6ft. person jumping 780 ft. into the air.

The most dangerous animal in the world is the common housefly. Because of their habits of visiting animal waste, they transmit more diseases than any other animal.

A cockroach can live for several weeks without its head.

Only humans sleep on their backs.

No matter its size or thickness, no piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times.

Shrimp's hearts are in their heads.

Every time you lick a stamp, you're consuming 1/10 of a calorie.

The human eye blinks an average of 4,200,000 times a year.

Ants do not sleep.

A cockroach can live for several weeks without its head.
-And the only reason it dies is because it has nothing to eat with. If you somehow fed a headless cockroach, they would live forever without its head.

WRONG. :3
In 2002, Britney Gallivan broke the limit. First, she did it with a 10cm square of gold foil, with the aid of tweezers. But it wasn't paper, it was foil. She got a 4000 foot long roll of toilet paper. Her and her family spent 7 hours on it- but they ended up folding the paper 12 times.

Hooray for fact books. :3

Chocolate is made from coco beans, coco beans are vegetables, chocolate is a vegetable!

Also: all famous pop songs can be played with the same 4 chords on a piano, its a series of chords that the human brain seems to like!

Similar to this, yes? I'm learning about this in guitar. They use the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th chords in a key to make these songs.

Really? I thought it was more like 60%.

Anyway, an adopted 7 year old was left on a plane alone and was sent to Russia (Not really fun, more depressing...).

And that's why I can't send my sister to America. Some Americans are ignorant.

Fact: They get bigger. Largest living species of snail has a shell just under a meter in length and can weigh 18 kgs.

Fact: Despite most New Zealand fauna being unable to compete as well as introduced species (due to never evolving in an area of high mammalian diversity, 3 species of bats) and thus having no defence against them when they were introduced), the most numerous mollusc in Yellowstone is a New Zealand mudsnail, Potamopyrgus antipodarum, and can reach densities of 500,000 per square meter in some places. Genetic studies suggest that all of those snails probably descended from one snail that had survived being consumed by a bird, travelling in the gut of said-bird before being deposited in Yellowstone, where it had nothing better to do than clone itself.
