I've been looking around, and I've seen some AMAZING PROGRAM edits. I've been wondering, how much of that is hand drawn? What editing programs do u guys use? I have elements, and I got even a second job to see maybe maybe i can afford a cheap CS3. Let me KNOW what u guys use and how much it is. I really need an alternative, preferably cheaper alternative to CS3 OR 4 :D. so far elements is about as expensive as i can get.

Coreldraw is my main editing program, mainly I just scan my stuff and post it here. (note the penciling)

If you want a program, try figuring which one you want most then saving up for it. I tend to fish around with free trials, but when one sticks I useally ask my parents, (they always say no) and go back.

Right now I'm using CS3 Photoshop, and I hope to continue with it, but I shall be getting the full CS4 kit as well.

I'm at school, and what they do is give us programs we might need at school, including CS3, so in the case of the end of this year, I have to buy it all, BIGGER dip in my budget.

I get my programs cheap from Bali, Indonesia. Stuff over there goes for the price of dirt here... which, mind you, is still rather expensive in certain cities, lol.

However, I can't say that I've used any of them yet. I'd like to learn the order of operations that are specific to what I'm going to be doing in the future, which is graphic animation.

Heh, graphic animation is just a fancy name for game design in my case...

Not to sound like a crook, but you're only guilty if you're caught. It's just a program. Heck, my last professor encouraged me to take the Fbid Basic Compiler off the hard drive.

You got CS4...only thing you did right was get it with the Flash, CS4 Flash is amazing, but the rest of it is confusing.

Flash should be easy though, its all simple enough, there should be page properties, you can change the background size and color, the text tool is plain to see. It should be a piece of cake if you use Flash.
