The Saga...
What do you think of my Saga of Traitor and Betrayed so far? It's just barely begun--there are ultimately going to be three parts, and I'm only about ten percent done with the first and shortest of the three--but I enjoy playing around with your perceptions of what's going on. How'd you like what I've got so far? And does the ending of chapter three have enough/too much cliffhanger in it?
I really want to know what you think.

Re: The Saga...
I LOOOOVVVEEE IIIIT!!!!!!!
There are just a few little things...
A) Not enough comedy :( It's like Juliana dissappreared into a serious writer!
B) It seems to so far be sticking to the plot a bit too much.
C) I just realised that if you press shift +backsapce it poofs your whole message.
D) You used hotpink text and that is a regular trademark of Winnie Brave, all rights reserved.
So is lime.
Re: The Saga...
Its actually very professional, I'm deeply impressed with it's originality and depth. It's length also makes it very printable. Have you considered publishing it?
Re: The Saga...
Wow, Juli, your writing skills are impeccable. I find every scene well-developed, and I enjoyed your use of intermission, as I am an acting man. You exceeded my expectations(which were quite high to begin with), and I hope you always find some way to incorporate writing into your life.
Re: The Saga...
Okay, I'm going to try and respond to every single comment you guys made.
@Winnie: Maybe my sense of humor is now a bit dark for your tastes (it's a charnel house in my head these days), but I did put quite a bit of good clean comedy in there. It's going to fade in and out based on the situation. Man oh man, I love playing with y'all's emotions. And with the plot, I have to keep close to the original one for awhile, just to establish a status quo. Once I've done that, I'll be going in all KINDS of weird directions. And so far as the rest of your post goes, it would therefore NOT be a good idea to press Shift+Backspace, and I had hot pink text many years before you did. It was my administrator trademark back on When Thunder Was Lightning.

MINE!!!!!!!
.:Juliana:.
No, it's mine!
@Pyronix: Thank you very much for the compliments. This actually IS my method of publishing it, insofar as this is how I can get people to see it. Well, I'm also planning on publishing a more original (i.e. non-copyright-infringing) work of my own, once I finish it. I'm two years into the writing process with that one.
@Charon: Thanks tons! I find your compliments to be particularly noteworthy considering just how good a writer they're coming from. And as for incorporating writing into my life... I doubt that's ever going to be a problem; the problem is how to stop long enough to learn math. :trxd:

Re: The Saga...
wow, just think, a few years from now, when you're book kill's harry potter and is on top of the charts, we can all say "I read that book and it was....AWESOME!" =P
Re: The Saga...
Just thought I'd let y'all know: I've got a new chapter out. For the first time (but not the last, I assure you), I almost kill Juliana, and also for the first time (though definitely not the last), we get some serious irony.

Re: The Saga...
Pay close attention, because Chapter 4 is going to be very, very important in the future. Basically, I've just set the status quo, and the first in a chain of events that will ultimately shape students into legends has happened...
This chapter probably seems pretty tame, since you don't know how the story ends, but having it in there allows me to make EVERYTHING happen.

...Juli, I am so excited because of what you just told me.

Re: The Saga...
In my head, it's complete. I can see where it goes from here, and exactly how we get from ancient Soluna to present-day Battleon. I'm trying to get you excited. I want you to laugh and cry and be amazed and be horrified as the events unfold. And I intend to put in several more intermissions, linking the legend being told to the person telling it. The intent of my storytelling is to make a dream real, and if your reactions are anything to go by, I seem to be succeeding.

Re: The Saga...
Thats exactly how my story is. Every bit of the main plot is already mapped out, it's just the matter of getting there that I have to arrange.
Believe it or not, I thought of Soluna before AQ was even released. I got the idea after I played the game Golden Sun, which deals with the forces of Sol and Luna at the beginning. I believe I was in fifth grade. Imagine my face when I found out that AE thought of it too. >.<

Re: The Saga...
Chapter 5 is up, and things are getting interesting as I put in even more foreshadowing and almost kill Juliana again! I feel like I'm rushing things just a little, because I'm very eager to get to the really important stuff. Such as the part where you learn why it's called the "Saga of Traitor and Betrayed." Oh, and keep a lookout for the next intermission; I'm planning on putting another one with some major information in it pretty soon.

Re: The Saga...
Why, thank you for your enthusiasm.
I've just put up yet another chapter! We finally get to see Juliana discover what she's good for in life. Trust me, this talent is going places. Lots of places.

Re: The Saga...
Okay, this story is like an Epic Cyborg version of Harry Potter on steroids. I love it! The KotL are developed brilliantly, your skills at writing about mechs and everything having to do with them is impeccable, and I really want to know more about this Vance character. He seems like either a future boyfriend, a powerful ally, or a possible enemy.

"Epic cyborg Harry Potter on steroids?"
I've never heard that descriptor before, but thanks.
And, oh my dearness, you are GOING to hear more about Vance. All of Juliana's classmates are going to be important (oddly, you are probably never going to hear much about Emily's or Jacob's), but Vance is supposed to be extra-interesting because... Hmm, how much can I give away?... Vance is going to be extra-important.

Re: The Saga...
LOL... Just got back reading the last released chapter. "And I want you in a class that I don't teach. Becuase you scare me."
Re: The Saga...
It's a good thing that I promised Winnie all SORTS of weird directions, because that's exactly what happens in my newly released Chapter 7! Get a glimpse of Juliana's daily schedule, then be sidetracked by a weird tangent that will be alluded to for the rest of the story--and not always the way you expect, either! Meet a new character, see a new side of an old one, and run into a cliffhanger ending! I sound like a commercial on TV in this post! But wait--there's more! Chapter 8 is almost finished, and it's even better! Expect it in by tomorrow. Don't just sit there--Read Now.

Re: The Saga...
Thank you very much, Kage.
In other news, Chapter 8 is up! I'd like to dedicate this one to Winnie. Monty Python references, fingerprints, fun names and all, this is for Winnie. We finally learn who Juliana supposedly killed, more than halfway through. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Re: The Saga...
We want you to bring us...a SHRUBBERY!
Wow, Juli, your style just amazes me. I love all the little details(something that I'm working on), and your dialogue feels too real. I loved the simile about the sea fog, and I am really enjoying how this saga is becoming darker with every chapter. Now...
Tell me more about Vance! ;P
