Welcome to the Armor Creation Topic!

What is the Armor Creation Topic?
The Armor Creation Topic, or the ACT for short, is a thread where you can come to suggest well-thought-out and extremely detailed descriptions of AQW armors that you would want to submit to AE. Please provide as much information as you can about how your armor would look, and try to stray away from using any AQW pieces in your suggestions. Reference pictures help a lot.

Who is in charge of the ACT?
The ACT is run by seven of your favorite TR moderators:
-Charon: Design Artist, ACT Leader
-Vamp: Photoshop Artist, Assisstant to the ACT Leader
-Flawsie: Photoshop Artist
-Ryzaa: Photoshop Artist
-Kao: Photoshop Artist
-Pyro: Flash Artist, Design Artist
-Rage: Design Artist
-Shadow: Flash Artist
As well as some enthusiastic and helpful members:

How does it work?
Well, the ACT is a dream factory, of sorts. We take your ideas and create them to the best of our ability. Since this is the case, please do not request armor just for the sake of requesting armor. Only request when you have a worthy idea so the artists do not get bogged down with requests. Failure to comply with these rules will result in your armor not being created.

Extra Information about the ACT:

Let us refrain from redoing preexisting characters so we all have a better shot at making an armor into the suggestion shop as well as a better representation of our own originality. You could use a tiny piece from a character(e.g. a belt) because you like the way it looks. This way, it'll be mostly your idea.

Do remember, that unless you are planning to draw a reference picture for us, that we have three Design Artists who will draw your armor for you. The point of this thread is for us to create something for you without requiring you to put forth much effort.

The plan is for us to have a ton of armors to submit to AE.

Being a part of the ACT Team is a commitment that, if you are accepted into it, you should take seriously. It will take up some of your time, so you must be willing/able to give that time to it. Just something for all people who want to join the Team to think about.

Drakkan wanted to create a new FrostScythe set, and he named it FrostScythe's Insanity. While this is his idea and has no connection to the ACT unless he decides he wants it to, it will serve as a good example for a way to make things in the ACT run a little more smoothly.

He drew up the armor pieces in a way that was different from AQW's style (x), and I decided to put it together (x) as a little experiment. While I obviously made a few artistic changes, the idea generally stayed the same. While this will not be required, I suggest that anyone who is suggesting an armor that might be difficult to describe sketch out their idea and give it to us as a reference. Believe me, it makes it so much easier to design an armor. And don't worry if it's not top quality artwork. As long as there is a clear idea of what you would like, the sketch will really help us.

Personally, I'm not to enthusiastic about redoing already existing characters; I'd kind of like to do something unique. Its probably just me, though.

Awesome, I will start drawing as soon as I'm back from school :) which ends early today because of teacher/faculty meeting.

Ok, I will start scanning my designs into the computer and post them on here for you. There will be quite a few so I shal only post my best designs, And if you don't think they are up to standard you can tell me and I will take them away and work on them. Edited~ I have prepared all of my sketches ready to scan and they should be coming soon. I have Devised 4 armors for you of two natures. Two of my drawings are of a StarCaptain type and are coloured. The other two are of a Suit/Slayer/Swordsmaster/Hunter based armor. One of the other pictures is uncoloured yet I have drawn a female version aswell, And the most rescent peice I have worked on was mainly a Mogloween armor I was just playing around with but it turned out pretty well. You may struggle with these because they are mainly from scratch not including mutch detail of armors already in-game. But I would love to see them once they are finished and I know you will do a good job. By the way when you see these designs you will start to understand how obsessed I am with suits...

5sec~ So, these drawings will be reference pictures for us to redo to make them more professional looking?

First up, we need a tr Armour. Nothing to obvious in terms of advertising of course, other wise it won't be published. Just call it "the reg", that way if milt chooses it he won't know what it stands for.

I'd like to start this one. xD

any themes in mind?

Also, are these going to be made into AQW armors or something, because that seemed a little unclear...

Caeel~ Once we finish a few of them that question will be easier to answer. We do have seven artists, so hopefully not too terribly long.

Shad~ Normally, it would be, but since it's a Clanwide project and not as many people go to the art village, it is classified as an Event. And please do!

I would like a "Sk8r Boi/Gurl" Look.
Y'know like, One of those short sleeve over a long sleeve shirts, with black tight pants and skate shoes, with a matching skateboard wep and a beenie hat? On the shirt is should have like "Ebilgames" or a parody of a skate brand with AE influences.

@Atriax I've seen your Flash work and its very impressive. I'll talk to the other ACT Team Members and see if they'd be okay with adding you to the team.

@Winnie and Cial I think we want to keep the actual ACT Team to a limited number of people. However, I'm sure you guys will be able to help once we get a project going.

Vamp is right. Until we get this thing really rolling, I'd like to keep the team as is. However, we only have one Flash artist, which is something that we obviously need more of, since AQW runs on Flash. Atriax, if you wouldn't mind pming me what you think is your best Flash work, I'd really appreciate it. ^^

Already thought about it and the time isn't the problem, it is the actual scanning any drawn thing I do, also I have an armor I would like to see flashed I will put it up asap.
