How you joined TR?

I was thinking of making a thread where you can write how you joined TR. Did anyone refer you? Do you have a funny story? Anything else at all? Post it here. I will go first.

It all started way back in the summer of 2009. My good friend from the gallery, Cohon, linked me to this new AE fansite called "The Battleon Hill". The three admins, Atriax, Zyrain, and Damork, unfamiliar at the time, would all later be my great friends. I would later meet dozens of people, some that would later become some of my best friends on AE games (Omega1000, Beowolve, Atriax, Silver Lion). The main worker for the site who contributed graphics and banners was know by the name of Vamparagon. We talked a lot and got to know each other and pretty soon we were great friends. Another contributing factor was my good friend, Zyellowflash. One day I gotoed him on the Artix server and landed right smack in the middle of a TR con. A few days later I joined the clan.

I had known Vamp, Flaw and Charon for quite some time (mainly through the magic of Twitter : D) and one day they told me to join. Just like dat.

My reason is very simple:

Winnie.

She and I are friends IRL, and I joined TR because she asked me to. Then promptly stopped coming on TR, and even AQWorlds in general. I had almost forgotten all about it, until she told me about something that she was doing with TR. She called it "The Merry Maids of Pwnzor..."

Naturally, I had to take a look, and that was that. I was hooked.

Ok...I heard about y-6114 in y-1. Then I went there.. Vamp asked me if I was in TR. I said no. Then he asked me if I wanted to join. o.o I did.

I accidently followed Ely into y-6114 and thought it was a really cool fun place and when i found out it was a clan, I joined :D

Lets see... It was either Spring or Summer, Summer I think, and it was back when I idoled O because I didn't get a grip on aqw's "reality" so-to-speak, and he went there to go afk like usual, and I just saw tons of people having some sort of meeting. Sooooooooo, it looked like fun, so I was like, "Hey, can I join the clan?" And vamp was like, "Sure just sign up on our forums." "We are at www.trforums.com". I immediately thought, WOW! A real website run by people (Since the only website I had seen run by a single person before that I knew was using freewebs, which coincidentally was the old host of this site... XD) thats AWESOME! So, I tried to register, and it kept asking me for a code, like one of those ones that make sure bots don't spam create. Every time I tried, it never actually worked, so I told Vamp, and he said, "I didn't think it required a code, let me check. No, I don't see a code required to register." Then, I talked to either Ely or Sal -I'm not sure which, but I think it was Sal- and they said they could make one for me. So, after one little typo, I accidentally got the username of Erikm10 instead of Erikm110. Now, after being in TR long, I finally feel like a member that is contributing to the clan well! I also feel like it has helped me mature a lot, from learning to start ALL sentences with a capital letter (From the kind moderators' example) to stopping using abbreviations like brb all the time. Also, psychologically, I think I have changed a lot, from a little, mature-feeling kid, to a real mature teenager.

Wow, that was long.

Long story short, for those of you who don't want to read all of the above.

I joined TR over Summer after stalking O because TR seemed cool.

I was minding my own business (I was actually moo-ing out of bordem) in Beta, when Ryzaa 520 appeared (Who i know ok) and his friend Demidragonx. (Who i had know idea of who he was)

Ry asked me to join this TR site, which I checked out, and got pretty into it right form the start.

(a little while later)

Back then having points was been pretty 'cool'.
i checked the Chatbox and saw someone called Flaw of Insanity (who i had seen him do some awesome stuff in the Awe pics <3)

and I chatted to him, and we both wanted some more chat points, so we set up a thread about:
Get your points up here or something like that, and we spammed that thread for a while, feeling pretty good.

next day, Vamp comes along "spammehs D:<"
the Flaw and I were sitting on the rank "on Thin ice" (which means get caught spamming again and your outa her!)
i was about to leave when Flaw supported me when he got his Art Gallery mod position, from then on, i was glued to TR :3

I was bored and hadn't had a forum to chat on for a couple of months. I was randomly on twitter when i clicked on Trogdor's twitter. Scrolling though the messages i see a tweet that said something like:

"Everyone seem's to be joining this, so i guess i will to. *link to TR*"

I clicked it and scrolled though his introduction thread. I looked around and eventully joined. Now i'm on here almost daily, and i havn't seen much of trogdor....lol.
