First off, even the Wii had more hardcore games like even Super Smash Brothers Brawl which is played extensively on pro gaming circuits.

Fine, AQW is dress-up with swords.

Transferring all of your pokemon between games (besides eventually destroying memory) is a bad idea. It ruins the whole fun of the game and the adventure of catching all the new pokemon and using the team you bonded with on your journey to become the pokemon master.

If the Wii-U already has hardware on-par with PS3s, it should be able to support an MMO much like the PS3 supports DCUO.

We've had transfer from game to game, only difference is that it's usually one at a time or something.
And if you remember, we have badge systems preventing us from using OP pokemon, and the transfer function always comes after we beat the elite four.
It's just a data transfer size expansion to make bringing in our old pokemon simpler, so we don't have to do it one at a time and then restart the system, or catch a billion zubats.

And the hardware can be the best in the world, you won't be seeing online games since Nintendo clearly hasn't shown much interest in implementing stuff like that.

I own that game, everything is either laughably easy or stupidly difficult. And the difficult isn't even real difficulty, it's just bad design that makes it hard.

The new Pokemon game approaches, X and Y!
It also makes me realize the last sensible starter trio was Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chicorita, after those three the starters have started to be more and more stupid, with this newest lineup the most stupid of them all!

Of course there might have been an exception in every new gen lineup, but really, the designs of Pokemon have moved from the weird to the "almost like in real life except different color scheme and a trait like FEATHERS".

I'm so old. Should I even care about this? Probably not.

I understand that pokemon needs a new gimmick. Its pretty much impossible to keep going with the same graphic style slightly tweeked like they have been. But the 3d doesnt even look good, the pokemon in the trailer look like crap, and assuming theres no drastic changes to gameplay, all they did was make the graphics look bad.

I think the graphics look good stylized. I'm also sure that the reason it's that way is to cut down on using Pokedex 3D style models to save processing space for gameplay. They didn't change much, to me, just the graphics, which is totally fine to me. And remember, there's still room for improvement. Release is still 9 months away.

Well sure the fire starter and one of the legendaries look terrible, but that has been standard since 4th gen. The rest look cool. The graphics are still an improvement on anything they've had before anyways.

It says October WORLDWIDE. Does that mean we finally don't have to wait for Spring!?!?!
