I love skiing, downhill and cross-country. Although I prefer cross-country these days, because when you go on locations its a more adventurous experience.

My parents were overprotective so they never let me ski/snowboard. Something about dying in an avalanche.

well, austria, country surrounded by mountains and all that.
I hate the preparations, but once I'm out there, shooting down the hills, jumping "kickers" and Wolfmother (Joker and the Thief) rocking my brain at the same time, its just awesome.

I love skiing, I go to Winter Park, Colorado to my grandma's condo as much as I can. Where I go, there are different skill levels.

Green: easy
Blue: middle
Blue-Black-middle: hard, mobles
Black: Hard, mobles

I got to the top of a 12080 foot mountain, and skiied all of the way down. Its epic!

I think everyone knows the very basics of skiing. Pizza, french fry. XD

I've been skiing a couple of times. It's great fun except for the part where I crashed into a group of tourists on a learners slope. I go to Mount Hutt which is a great skifield, one of the closest to my hometown (along with Porter Heights) and one of the first to open every season.

A couple of my friends are planning on dragging me along this year to learn how to snowboard. It should be fantastic, if they can tolerate the pre-7am me. XD since it's about 1.5 hours or so to the nearest skifield
