On a High Note
Welcome to my very unfinished Music Gallery! It's two in the morning as I write this, so please bear with me.
The piece that got me into the Music Gallery. I'm considering re-recording, just to get higher quality based on what I learned from this version.
And another! I've always liked the 1980s sound. For this one, I figured out a little better how not to overwhelm my microphone.
Second one in as many days... I recorded two really good but different versions of this, then spent ages trying to decide which to use. Hope I chose right.
I'm afraid I don't have any of this yet. Check back sometime soon, since I'm planning to write up the sheet music for a couple of TR-inspired songs I've composed.

So. I've just posted a second song. Any thoughts? Does anyone ever even look at this board?

Re: On a High Note
I do. c:
You're a very talented singer, but you're a little quiet in terms of volume. Don't be nervous, you're very good at it. ;)
Good job on both videos.

Re: On a High Note
In response to Sticky: I sang quietly in both recordings because otherwise I overwhelm my microphone and it starts clipping and... well, it's just a big mess. Listen to the second half of "Without You" again if you want a demonstration of slight clipping, and that was after singing it through three times in an attempt to avoid that effect. Normally, my voice is very loud.
Plus, these are both very quiet songs.
And to Weena: Lol, I'm so glad you think so highly of my singing.

Sorry, I didn't know. Your voice wasn't very quiet to start with, so I was just nitpicking. :P

Re: On a High Note
Juli, you sing VERY loudly. If we did a recording together, then It would be called "Juli and Winnie, but you can't hear Winnie, because Juli is pwning her."
:) Remember in church when we were supposed to sing that duet? Hahaha. Good times. Too bad I got sick.

Re: On a High Note
WINNIE- We should do a duet!
And in the meantime, I've got a new piece! You might recognize it if you've ever seen "The Lion King."
