Help me?

Well, I have all the things needed for a TR avvy but I can't make it. Here is the background:Background And the sprite: Sprite PS: The background is png but the sprite is jpg. Any help would be appreciated c:

What exactly is the difficulty?

When I tried to paste in the sprite, (resised to fit though) the quality was bad.

That's because it's a jpg. Probably.

What program are you using?

GIMP

Either resize the sprite before pasting or convince GIMP not to do that resizing.

You can get rid of the whiteness by using a better program or investing more time into the cropping. Since I actually have a better program I did the cropping for you. I hope you don't mind. Here: sprite

Wow, I still need help..I guess I'm gonna use another cheap method...

I so screwed up, the transparent parts are now black... Here is the image I used Fail. Oh and Dig, which program do you use?

That it's black is not the fault of the image. Did you use the "Upload an Avatar from your computer" feature of the forum? Don't do that, it messes with the transparency, I had the same problem when I made my avatar. Host the avatar somewhere else, on Tinypic for example, and use "Link to an off-site Avatar".

And I'm using Photoshop CS5.

I know but I can fix it later or get a better version of this from a shop.
