Truthfully I think it really depends upon your stat build, stategy, etc. etc., but if I had to choose one, I'd choose my personal favorite Necromancer, since the 125 mana ability spell is powerful, and elemental by weapon, all you need is a good mage build. I don't have a proper build and I tend to deal around 200 damage as a level 79 against a normal 100% element defence. Plus, if you have the Eye of Naab, it basically allows you to get that 125 mana back next turn, as well as hp lost, which allows for one extra cast per fight.

If you're using a melee/ranged build, well I really have no help for you there.

The Shadow Set is the best set I've seen so far, try giving that a shot, though it's tedious to get e_e.
