I can't believe I'm actually about to ask TR about this but...

Kay so theres this girl I like irlz. I know its a shock but go with it.

Now, 2 weeks before Christmas I got rejected by said girl because "I'm not her type"
I know that I'm not her type because I was a jerk. So I am going to try and be a nicer person.

My question is, do you guys think its a good idea?

go ahead, but if you are a jerk then that shouldnt be the reason, still: if the girl still rejects you then its best to leave well enough alone.

You see I thought I'd get over her over Xmas but you know what they say,

"Separation makes the heart grow fonder"

And I'm sure its because I was cursing too much and being overly mean with my sarcasm.

Ultimately Tom, you have to ask yourself if you're trying to create a relationship from the base of quelling your imperfection or overcoming it. Indeed, you have to ask yourself what you want out of this relationship. Do you want to become a better person out of it? Is it purely sexual attraction and improving your ways is a requirement for that, or a fear of being alone? Most likely, it's a combination of these three. It's important for you to dissect your attraction to your this girl and see what you want out of the relationship. If you really see yourself being with her and think you can change your ways, you should do so. If you only want to get in her pants and/or aren't motivated to truly change what caused her to reject you in the first place, don't waste her (or your own) time.

V I love you, that's the best advice I've had on the situation so far.

I can tell you it's not a sexual thing straight away. And after thinking about it changing the way I act would be a good thing whether it changes her mind or not. Question Answered. A resounding yes thanks to V's advice.
