I just implemented some modules on the left that shows some useful features that might take you more effort to access without them. Any thoughts?

Also, if it's cutting avatars off for you, try going to a larger screen size (apple/cmd and "+" at the same time).

It actually is pretty useful though? I get emails telling me theres new posts all the time, but I cant find them; this is quite helpful: especially to the people that like to post in the games thread?

I'm not a big fan, it squishes the post area and I don't really see a use for them.

I like them but zooming out isn't really an option on my laptop because of the screen resolution

Maybe you could make like a new html page that hosts all of those widgets and other things like that?

I'd rather have the side-bar thinner, and not continuing to the bottom of every page in the generic forum color.

Update: I have added a button at the top of the widget that, when pressed, retracts all of the widgets IN A SUPER SEXY CSS3 FADE FASHION.

The widgets are nice and useful by themselves but they create a bunch of annoying additions. Like the forum colour not changing and the posts being squished. Can they just be on the homepage?
