Don't think I like how they moved away from the characters and character looks from SC2, but having Ezio in SC5 looks like it could be good. I miss the old Nightmare.

Nightmare is ridiculous with that exploding move, you can take damage and still use it, and it does a ton of damage back. Of course you can't spam it or anything, but it works often...

Nightmare has a solid wall game, a ridiculous ring out game, the best back-step punish in the game, and ridiculous damage. I'm pretty sure all of the major tournaments have been won by Nightmare players as well.

Devil Jin is banned at majors because he's a CAS exclusive soul, which complicates things.

Ezio... is considered low tier by a lot of veterans.

Players like Something-Unique have been complaining about Xiba, and most Kilik players believe him to be too weak. He is forced to space out characters too often because of how punishable he is, and is largely based around punishing whiffs with 3B.K.K and fishing for counter hit 6B.K brave edges. Remembrance mix-ups are not very reliable due to how slow the low K is, but the auto-GI into B followed by counter hit 6B.K brave edge does around 70 damage before guts scaling. All in all, a very defensive character that I find struggles against the likes of Ivy, Nightmare, and so on because of their range.

Voldo's got a Michael Phelps backstroke stance. That's all anyone needs to know about him.

Quick recap; Nightmare is definitely top tier, Devil Jin is sorta iffy, Ezio is not that great, and Xiba is a mere shadow of what Kilik was in previous Soul Caliburs.

Are you talking about mix-ups? Every character has them, some characters are better at them than others. Characters like Mitsurugi and Maxi are more so based around that practice than Xiba and Ezio. Besides, you should be able to tech back out said juggle...

You should be able to fast recover as most characters though. I never had that problem and I played against a lot of spammers.
