It's on my list to watch eventually, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. How is the story? I just added it because it looked really cool.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
Well that's not much to go by. Some of my favorite animes were Gun/Diebuster, Nichijou, K-On, and Welcome to the NHK (which i havent finished yet).
And if you're looking for stuff thats currently airing, definitely check out Hyouka, Kokoro Connect and Sword Art Online. Maybe Tari Tari as well.
heres a list of anime i'm watching/have watched 2

Yeah sorry, I'm just starting out :<
Thanks for the list, you really like highschools don't you lol.
Also, watch Champloo soon. I'm on ep05 and it's gorgeous.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
I watched it when I was really young with my brother, but since I dont remember any of it I'll have to rewatch. And I only counted 9 out of all the animes i've watched that involved highschool, and that's being generous.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
As far as I've heard, Jinrui follows the same thing that Haruhi, the eps don't air in a chronological order. It's pretty good so far though, even after I only saw one ep.
As for recommendations... since you didn't specify genres I will not bother classifying or explaining these since obviously they don't matter.
Last Exile
Kyokai Senjou no Horizon
Dog Days
Accel World
Moyashimon(& Moyashimon Returns, started airing this season)
La storia della Arcana Famiglia
Jormungand
They're all okay series. Horizon is pretty good "brains off, entertainment ON" anime.
As for older stuff..
The Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas
Durarara
Kara no Kyoukai(6 movies rather than a normal episode anime)
Shiki
Star Driver
Steins;Gate
C the Money of Soul and Possibility Control
That's enough for now.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
Yeah it's kind of like Pulp Fiction.
I dunno, if I had to define my favorite genre it's probably action and forest/village settings. S C is both of those which is probably why I like it so much, plus Champloo is fun to say which is very important to me. I try to avoid shows with too much Moe/boardermoe too.
Thanks for the list though, gonna watch stein soon. Have you seen Mushi-shi?

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
The only thing I have to say to that is WHERE IS MY SEASON TWO?
And that reminds me of another suggestion: Mononoke.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
I've seen bits of it I think, I'm avoiding Ghibli stuff for now though.
But yeah, I'm gonna watch the rest of Mushi pretty soon. The episodes are pretty deep so you can't really watch them all at once.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
You might like to watch Tekkon Kinkreet, its just a movie (and on youtube for whatever reason). Also Sword of the Stranger fits your description perfectly. You mite like Cowboy Bebop too, its pretty actiony but its set in a futuristic setting.
also i think leb was referring to this mononoke.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
Ooh Tekkon and SoS both look neat. thanks.
Yup I've seen most of Cowboy Bebop, that's the main reason I'm watching Champloo (same director). Watanabe is just such a genius when it comes to mixing genres/cultures, it's great.

Re: Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
If you're into mindless action, check out Black Lagoon. It's nothing BUT mindless action. And at one point, hilarious Engrish.
