You can't... can't... get the Swine Flu from eating pig. It's a virus that some how got from a live pig, and turned into a human flu. So, you can get it from a pig, but you can't get it from eating one, unless it's raw meat.

Well, it seems as though we are still scared, the flu is out of the news. News passes fast, but this seemed to be especially bad for a time. Well, though the flu still exsists, it's basically not worried over as much anymore.

They still mention it but not as often like this morning they said like a lot of people have it,and they think its a man made virus.

I sincerely doubt that it's an artificial virus. Nobody could possibly be insane/sick/twisted/evil enough to make such a thing. Considerably more likely is the possibility that my whole family has it...

Whether it's "piggy sniffles" (as we have invariably referred to it ever since seeing that comedian on Sunday) or not remains to be seen. So far it's not bad enough for us to get worked up over, though. Anyone know what the symptoms of swine flu are?

The symptoms of H1N1 are similar to the seasonal flu, including:
•fever, which is usually high
•cough
•runny/stuffy nose
•sore throat
•body aches
•headache
•chills
•possibly extreme fatigue/tiredness
•and sometimes diarrhea and vomiting
Extreme/uncommon symptoms:
•Fast breathing or trouble breathing
•Bluish/gray skin color
•Not drinking enough fluids
•Severe/persistent vomiting
•Inability wake up or interact
•Extreme irritability
•Improvement of flue-like symptoms but a return with fever and worse cough
