The Beginning of the Orbs.
Deep in the mountains of Crandor, a darkness stirs. The Dark Prince Charon, ruler of the Shadows, swiftly walks down the dank halls of his dark manor, his long, black hair whipping wildly around his head, he turns down a small corridor, and his shadows assembled before him opening the door so he could get through; however, they could not open it fast enough, and the door slammed into the wall, shattering. "COME HERE NOW!!" Charon yelled, not with his mouth, but with his mind. ~To be continued

Re: The Beginning of the Orbs.
As the remnants of the mental scream faded, small beings flitted to Charon’s side, trembling with obvious fear; one of the creatures, most likely the leader spoke first, “What is it you want, O Great One?” “I want to know why I have not heard of any progress” Charon stated in a voice layered with hatred. “M-m’lord, what you have asked has never been done before, to create som-“The creature abruptly stopped, then it toppled over, its head rolling off its shoulders. All the creatures started to whimper uncontrollably as they saw their leader fall. Charon just stood there holding an pair of enormous scissors in his hand (this isn't all there is but please comment on it.)

All the creatures started to whimper uncontrollably as they saw their leader fall. Charon just stood there holding a pair of enormous scissors in his hand, scissors that were laced with shadow powers and contained magic of a most ancient kind.
“SILENCE!!” Charon yelled, again using his mind to make the creatures forcibly stop chattering. The creatures quickly stopped whimpering, but now they trembled so much that it looked as if they were in great pain. ”Now, I want to see some progress in 2 weeks, or I will have your lives.” Charon quickly turned around and stormed out of the room. ‘They are all fools! They have no idea how important this is to me!’ he thought as he swiftly walked back to his throne room. ‘If my master ever found out-‘‘IF I EVER FOUND OUT WHAT, MY SLAVE?’ ’Master!’ Charon exclaimed. He turned on the spot, looking for the source of the voice, and, finding nothing, turned to continue walking, but instead, he found he could not move nor see. ‘Master, where am I?’A pair of eyes, pulsating red, and larger than Charon’s body appeared directly in front of the frightened human. ‘There is no need to think your words for I shall now clearly hear them if spoken.
“Where am I?” Charon reiterated. ‘You are in the Shadow Realm, my home.’ The deep voice, sounding like a great avalanche, stated. ‘Now what is it that you feared I would find out?’ “Nothing Master, it is just that the Shadow Orb is taking a lot longer to create than originally expected.” Charon mumbled, his voice quivering with fear, and with good reason, because no sooner had the last word left his lips had the whole area started to tremble violently in such a way as to knock Charon down.

Re: The Beginning of the Orbs.
“I MUST HAVE MY ORB!!” The Master screamed, his eyes glowing an even brighter red in his apparent anger. Charon, still on the ground, could only think his answer,”As you wish Master, I will get the orb finished before those heroes the Prophecy spoke of even know what they must do.”
-End Prologue-
Chapter 1
The din of metal striking metal rung over the fog covered tournament field. The people in the stands did not speak, giving the air a foreboding feeling. No one could see the two finalists, but the noises made by each were clear, both were struggling, and as the two contestants themselves looked at each other, they could tell the fight would be over soon. The larger of the two fighters was very muscular with eyes a piercing shade of green and unkempt, shining gold skin; he had all the looks of an average Ro’Andeen warrior. The second warrior was almost the exact opposite. Jet black hair streaked with silver, framed a handsome face, and eyes the color of blood speckled with silver showed great intelligence, and made his savage grin even more terrifying, and even though he was slight of build, he was swift and agile with muscles the strength of steel.
The two fighters had been fighting for nearly three days with no food, water, or rest, but this hardly fazed either of them as they began fighting once again, the smaller of the two on defense, parrying blows with obvious ease, and the larger one laying a flurry of blows on the slim blade of his opponent. After another half hour of fighting the large warrior’s blows began to slow, and lose their fierceness, his sword grew leaden in his hands and he was forced to hold the large red blade with both hands. The smaller one, finally seeing his advantage, slowly started to advance on his adversary, pushing him back further and further until, finally, he had disarmed his opponent , sending the red blade careening through the air. Eyes wide with shock at the apparent ease that he had lost his weapon; the large warrior tripped, and fell to the hard, cold earth with a thump. The small warrior, with out missing a beat, sliced his sword at the fallen soldier’s neck, and stopped before the blow had landed. “Dead.”, the small warrior stated emotionlessly, though his eyes shined with acceptance. When the black haired fighter spoke these words, the fog around the two began to lift, and the crowd moved to the edge of its seat in anticipation. When the last bit of fog, the part covering the warriors, lifted, it took the audience a few moments to grasp the fact of who won, but when it registered in their heads, the people erupted in loud roars and cheers.
Amid the cheers, the dark haired warrior spoke, with a voice laced with wisdom, despite his apparent age. “Well now, I told you I would win, did I not, Xav?” Xavier, who shortened his name to Xav whenever possible, responded in a voice laced with the Drakel accent, “You never have been proven wrong, Aeonarial, and today was no exception.” Aeonarial offered his hand to his friend, who grasped it and pulled himself up. “I can be wrong you know.” Aeonarial stated simply.

Re: The Beginning of the Orbs.
As Xavier walked over to pick up his sword, a tall graceful figure walked up to Aeonarial and hugged him, speaking with a voice that was as soft as the finest silk, “I am so proud of you brother” Aeonarial’s eyes widened with surprise, “Nagi!” he exclaimed, “You made is, but what about your exams?” Nagi smiled and answered excitedly, “The examiner did not realize that his exam and the tournament would coincide, so he decided to postpone the exams until after the award ceremony” Aeonarial answered with his happiness showing in his eyes, “That is fantastic.” Nagi turned around to face Xavier as he walked back over, sword in hand. “Hello Nagi, doing well I presume?” “Yes, I am very well, and happy to see that you are okay, you fought well today” Nagi replied as a large grin appeared on her face.
Before Xavier could reply a sweating youth ran over to the three friends, “S-sorry to b-bother you sirs and madam,” the youth stammered, “b-but the Admiral requests that you visit him before the feast.” “Thank you young man,” Aeonarial said quickly, “and here, have some money for your services.” He stated, tossing a bag of coins to the young man. Aeonarial quickly turned on the spot and headed off to the exit of the arena.
I have about 3 more pages to type up, so be patient
