what kind of a question is that, of course we are, hence why we are disscussing the Pokemon games in a topic related to Pokemon

Another reason GSC are great are because they have Kanto and Johto, for longer gameplay (I hardly take capturing all of the pokemon as a part of the "goal" in the game, though that was the original purpose. I just see it as be able to beat lots of people. When they make one with all of the generations, I will give it the respect that it duly deserves.

Yeh, I agree with Erikm, the only decent Pokemon game will be the one with all the maps. Until that time, I have no buisness with Pokemon.

I remember the ol' days, where gas was cheap, women were thinner, and there only were 151 pokemon....and I got 'em all in blue edition....*sigh* I hate pokemon

Hafta say, my favorite Pokemon were all the Eevee evolutions (Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon), Shinx/Luxio/Luxray, Gyarados, Milotic, Linoone, Ponyta/Rapidash, Shaymin, Golem, and Misdreavus. Why? I don't really know... pretty names, pretty art, and pretty sweet results, I believe.

Yeah, my first Pokemon game was Pearl... I'm playing through FireRed, Sapphire, and Platinum now, actually.

I didn't like leafeon and glaceon, or the shinx evolutions. I lurve Misdreavus though! Misdreavus is definitely my favorite. Juliana, go back and get all of the older ones, like Red, Blue, or yellow, and Gold or silver. Ebay? The pretty art is in the older ones too, you just get a different perspective of everything. Btw, you need a GBC/Advance/SP to play original gameboy games, they are not compatible with DS.

Also, they didn't get so "advanced" in the older versions, you will like the designs of the old ones, it will make you think, how did they do this back then, and how has it "evolved" so far to get to its advanced-ness now. And then you will hate it only for the lack of trainers to fight when you have beaten the games, as there is no machine or ability to re-fight people unless you get the phone numbers and are lucky enough to be challenge.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver come out a day before my birthday! I can't wait! Time, move faster, NOW!

It's out now...turns out you need to get all the way to beating 1st gym before you can do anything wi-fi related..or trade I think..but yea I really need a male nidoran >.> want to relive the old pokemon red days of using nidoran to pwn everything..xD
