I borrowed Assassin's Creed from my bro-in-law and I've been playing it a little. I like the story and the game mechanics but stuff got repetitive and a little boring. I'm gonna try and get my hands on 2, and eventually Brotherhood. I love that they added multiplayer to it. I'm anxious to see some gameplay/ commentary Machinima for it.

What I think it needs, though, is character customization. I know you can kinda pick your character model in Brotherhood, but how about some in-depth customization like how you look and what weapons you carry? That's probably the next big step for the AC series.

There's already an announcement for another AC game next year. I remember seeing something about it on my Twitter feed, can't remember if it was G4 or IGN that said it.

Also, there's an animation coming out called Assassin's Creed: Ascendance. You'll see it tomorrow on PSN or XBL for $1.99. According to IGN, it takes place between AC2 and AC:B, following Ezio.

Anyways, looking forward to AC:B's coverage.

I so have to buy this game. Renting it is pointless since there's SO much to do, plus the Single Player Campaign is about 10-15 hours (+).

They can't even assassinate Fidel Castro in Black Ops. Ezio would kill him and 8 other people in the same day and still have time to go out for tacos.

You know, I think in the beginning your villa gets under attack and they kill Mario and shoot Ezio but the vid stopped after that.

Yeah, sometimes it can take quite a while. Also, you can get in a non-starting match at times, where it says waiting for abstergo agents 5/6 or something and you can wait forever but it won't finish looking. Also sometimes when you find a match but you are on 7/7 in the Animus screen still, it seems to not continue.

I meant it just gets stuck at 7/7 and not do anything else, even if you wait for a long while.

You have to try, its great, it might be a little dull at the beginning, but once you get to rome and stuff and are able to recruit asassins its amazing :D
