I highly doubt Newgrounds could be of any help. The only competant coders there are (mostly) either busy or arrogant.

Whether or not we're switching to flash to patch all the art pieces together and code it doesn't really matter when you are primarily an artist. The style is still pixels so switching over to flash doesn't mean that you are making flashed up complicated characters.

If you want to write some story line than go ahead but I sincerely doubt it will be put to use because nobody cares about the project and the momentum has been lost.

I don't have any idea for an incentive, if you have any than please offer up. However I believe if people need an incentive than it kind of ruins the purpose of this being for leisure and fun not because somebody is giving you something.

I agree Darre, but when a group of people need a push, an incentive usually puts them in motion. Such as if you tell a worker that if he/she works a little bit harder they will get a raise, bonus, ect. I suggest maybe people who work harder than some or put some extra effort into the game, they could be an NPC, whether that be at the start of the game or maybe later into it. But, that is just my suggestion.

I can sketch and scan. No adobe flash or photoshop anymore. But again, I just want to help, so yeah. You can pm me to do something and I will be on it. I honestly just want to help.

If you can whip out MSpaint than art becomes very easy for the pixel style. Flash and Photoshop aren't needed.
