Monday Night Combat is a class-based, third-person shooter/tower defense arcade game available on the Xbox 360 Arcade and Steam for $15. I would highly suggest you look into the game and play it, as it has very high learning curve, but is a very fun and well-made game when in comparison to other modern shooters.

Some YouTubers who upload high-quality and informative gameplays:

StriderHoang
xenorich (who is ridiculously good)
