Guess what, we're holding a Magic the Gathering tournament over at RL.

Just kidding, we're doing something less lame, since we're all good at math: A YuGiOh tournament.

Start Date: Monday July 23rd, 2012.

The Rules:
1) Any complaints regarding the tournament must be directed to the official guy whose idea this was, Tom Gaskarth.
2) Your deck must adhere to the current advanced format restrictions.
3) You must declare what type of deck you will be using before the tournament. You will have one week to prepare your deck, and after that you must use the same deck for the entirety of the tournament without changing any of the cards. For this reason it is highly recommended you prepare a side deck.
4) Duels between participants will be best two out of three matches.
ADDENDUM: Wind-ups decks are not allowed per recommendation of Xusha.

Since it turns out there was a severe break in communication between Monu and civilized people, he may or may not be able to play in the Tournament. In case that means we end up with an odd number of participants, I volunteer to be dropped out of the game, especially since it looks like I'm the only one who made their own deck rather than one from a preset list of "Use this to win fast, SHAZBOT".

As far as I know, I mean. That's the image I got from dueling Pere(a number of times) and Xusha, never managed to cause LP damage. Pere said I once managed to take away 50 points but I don't remember that so he must be lying.

Children's card games are serious business, if you're going to play for fun you should just GTFO.

Using a specific arch type isn't the same as netdecking. I use a Dark World deck, but I made it myself picking out the best cards to use in my opinion. (pere and xusha probably netdecks though because they're scrubs).

I made my own deck as well, which is why I won't make it far in the tournament either. Maybe I'll get some easy opponents so I can at least pretend my deck is worth something.

Weak Cial Mk4 is out, and I'd rather use it for the tourney if still possible. Zombie Summon deck.
