Ok.I'll try my best to answer these.

TRTG is a single player RPG.
It was originally developed in flash. With people like Bram or Weena I feel we can continue this program but we should keep our eyes open for something easier.
This question is kinda vague. Wanna elaborate?

When I began daydreaming because I felt it was pretty lame, I remembered TFoTR. We could use the plot of TFoTR for TRTG. (If you don't know what TFoTR is, see the topic in the Word Gallery.) EDIT: http://www.trforums.com/t2020-the-fall-of-tr is the link, to save you time. It's not finished, but the whole plot is done.

if we need a plot we can convert one of the rps into one. or one of us can wip one up. ive always wanted to turn my ideas for a story into a game befor.

As of now in my opinion it'd be best we used Cial's story and revised it if need be. We gotta respect that a lot of work's already been done on this project and to scrap it and restate would be foolish.

I don't have very much left of the actual plot yet. I stopped writing a while ago, but I have a little more.

Basically, from where we left off, Cial approaches, greets the newcomer and exclaims that he/she fits the prophecy perfectly, and takes him/her to the castle, explaining different functions and people, like Tim, the coffeemaster/armory dealer in the store and takes the newcomer to V, who sends the chosen one on a quest to kill a dragon (he's going mad) and bring back the skin. Cial tells him/her this and Cial offers to kill it himself, showing the basics of the combat system and defeating the dragon. There's a lot more, but parts have been deleted upon my re-reading a while ago.

well from what ive seen. i think we need a few changes, it depends on what kind of game we wanna make and how serious we want to get about it to.

Honestly I think that we were looking to far ahead last time for things that we weren't capable of like an MMO or an app. IMO we should stick to something achievable but still fun to make and play. If we managed to create something with the same flow and length as the mission where you battle that bookeeper and princess in AQW it would be pretty great.

Heres my problem, we cant do an MMO style game.
Even RPG is too far, these things just have too much detail.
So what I suggest is to simplify things, some of the best phone games I've player were small and simple (Angry Birds, Rat on a Skateboard, etc)
Maybe we oughta have a TR themed minigame instead?

Although a minigame would be easier, but we've been striving for an RPG since the start.
Nuke also I'm saying have a long plot but don't even start writing what you're not working on art and programming-wise. So develop mission by mission, starting with a tutorial mission and working our way up.

i agree, lets work on the tutorial first. it will give people something to do while we work on the world, plot, and characters/features. and i think cials work is perfect for it with a few minor adjustments

eh, i kinda feel like AE milked that goat till she bled. i think we should balance it a bit better. it was one of the things about aE that botherd me is when they sacroficed epicness for puns and gimmics where they could have been better elsewhere.

Quite frankly, if you make the game's dialogue and story serious, it's going to bomb. The plot is, no offence to Cial since it's actually a good plot and fits a non-serious mood like he's suggesting, made up of traditional RPG elements and if we make it serious it's going to bore people who have seen those elements rehashed over and over again.

Instead of:

Cial: Welcome to TR CASTLE!
Cial: But... But this is impossible! You are...
Cial: ...The CHOSEN ONE.
Cial: Come with me, quickly! We must go speak with KING VAMPARAGON.

It could go more like:

Cial: 'sup?
Player: Hey man.
Cial: I don't suppose you're interested in a job?
Player: That depends, what kind of job are we talking about?
Cial: Well, this is kind of embarrassing, but we have this prophecy and...
Player: Oh here we go.
Cial: Hey, let me finish! So we have this prophecy and this chosen one, but we recently lost our chosen one.
Player: You mean he was struck down by the forces of evil?
Cial: Didn't I just get done saying he was the chosen one? Why would the chosen one be struck down by the forces of evil?
Player: I just thought...
Cial: You just ASSUMED man. Anyway, so our chosen one was struck down by the forces of evil and we need a new one.
Player: Doesn't the chosen one have to be, I don't know, chosen?
Cial: You are being chosen. By me.
Player: I think I'm starting to see why the last one died.
Cial: At least let me take you to king Vamparagon. The job comes with great dental.
Player: Unless you're going to match my 401k don't even waste my time.
Cial: Hey now, tell it to the boss. Let's go see him now.

See what I'm saying?
