Oh god the simpsons hit and run is such a fun game.

BTW you don't need a TV to watch Adventure Time. It doesn't even play in Canada so I stream it online. So there's NO EXCUSE!

Also you g uys are judging the show and idea pretty hard without trying it out. You may find out you actually love the show if you gave it a chance.

That feel when you're Scooby Doo sailing from patio to patio in a haunted mansion avoiding monsters by utilizing a pair of bunny slippers and a lampshade as a brilliant disguise.

I don't expect that after listing over a dozen games everyone will enjoy every single one because I did. The fact that ONLY one fourth are debatable is less than I was expecting.

It'll just leave these recommendations off the top of my head here for you since you've obviously been buying all the wrong games based on movies and TV shows.

In before "most of those r based on b00ks lol"

Tbh the only games I see worth the time and money there are OO7 and the Simpsons.

The rest are just generic platforming/hack and slash games.

In this day and age, you can't honestly expect to spend cash on a passing fancy based off of an excellent concept (LOTR) when you can spend the same cash on an actual excellent concept (Oblivion).

I can understand if you had the cash available and were a fan of the series, as a born and raised poor console gamer myself, I have to pick and choose to get the most out of my shiny PS3. And when I can barely afford games like Battlefield and El Shaddai', games like Harry Potter which bring nothing new to the table other than some nostalgia at revisiting my favorite book series just don't warrant my attention.

And Book videogames are just as bad. Anything that goes through Hollywood first is generally crap. At least game companies have the sense to just throw money at dev's and let them have complete creative freedom on game mechanics.

Hollywood companies on the other hand have to put everything on a budget and deadline, and everything has fit somewhere into the grand marketing scheme of duping core target audiences.

But I digress.....again. My point is...............somewhere in that text wall.

Oh yeah, and I'm a major HP/LOTR head book wise, I just prefer not mix books/movies with my love for gaming. Ruins expectations imo.

only one of those games i ever played was starwars battlefront 2 and i played it till the disc broke, prob one of my fav games ever (though i havent plyed that many games in my life, or ever played any BAD/SUCKY games so im prob a bad example)

You can't expect the same experience in a game as you can in a show. There's less possibilities, and it often looks terrible. Other than that, you should be good.

It's alright to have an oppinion, but when you say "Proof Humanity is coming to an end" You're just being an asshole in a thread devoted to being excited about an amazing show getting a video game is like walking into a jewish community center and yelling "Heil Hitler".
