Friday/Saturday I'm going to make an awesome map designed specifically for infection types, possibly based around the Fat Kid infection game. Its going to be levels, and a tower, but there will be more like a maze section for each level, made out of crates, and the top will be completely blocked off. Long story short, its going to be awesome for infection gameplay.

The playtest for Cascade is TBA. I've been on such a role on Fortress that I really haven't done anything on Cascade. Right now, I don't want to stop on Fortress to finish Cascade, just in case I lose my groove.

When I do decide a date, ya'll know at least a week beforehand and will have to be at a time when enough people can get on. I have a few XBL friends that would probably help, but I doubt enough.

Cascade is a 4 v 4 Slayer/ SWAT map. Fortress, obviously is an 8 v 8 Invasion/ BTB map.

I'd love to see 8 vs. 8 on the Canyon, 'specially with TR members.

I got the phase objectives done, the phase vehicles, and barriers set so when you win a phase, they disappear for the next phase. All I need to do is place spawns and weapons.

Update #2:
Got Initial Spawns, Phase Spawns, and a few "Backfield" Spawns done. All I need to do is place weapons, got that half done. Playtest this weekend?

You have to use "Invasion" and not "Invasion: Boneyard" or "Invasion: Spire". It HAS to be Invasion only (or Invasion Slayer if you have it set up that way but that variant is absolute rubbish).

Use this as a guide. It helped tremendously when I made my map.

I did use the regular invasion gametype, which is why I'm confused. ;-;

Cool thing.

Connecting Reach to XBL just once will cut your cR gains offline to a maximum of 50 cR per match.

Lovely how it bundles with a 2 day Gold trial for free...

Bungie said before the release in an update on their website that cR earned offline and online would be separate.

I didn't have internet the day Reach came out and a half day the next, earned quite a bit, and when I went back online, "forfeited" 8174 cR, taking me back a rank and taking my kneepads away. In all actuality, the best way to farm cR is through Campaign. The limit set on Forge and Custom Games was to prevent people from just going into Forge and leaving it on overnight, and for Custom Games, idk, I would guess because of the customization involved, it's hard to restrict people from just boosting in Custom?

I'm actually getting 70 cR now at Captain Grade 1, so I think it rises as you rank up.

Besides, like I said: Campaign rewards the most cR of any farming method. Gruntpocalypse apparently is a great farming method, but I played it a few times and it didn't seem all that effective.

Step 1: Set the Campaign Mission to the third mission "ONI Sword Base"
Step 2: Set the difficulty to Heroic.
Step 3: Turn a few Skulls on.
Step 4 (Optional): Turn on scoring.
Step 5: Start the game.
Step 6: Run past all the enemies to where the Target Locater is.
Step 7: Grab the TL, hide behind the large pillar until "Checkpoint Reached" appears.
Step 8: Pop out from behind the pillar, wipe out the enemy forces closest to you with a rain of fire and destruction.
Step 9: Press start.
Step 10: Reload the Checkpoint.
Step 11: Repeat step 8 and 9 over and over.
Step 12: ???
Step 13: PROFIT!

You can easily early 3k+ with this method if you do it enough times.

Plus there's the Commendations...

I just play multiplayer.

I mean, I really want Grenadier chest and ODST shoulders, but I'm not going to boost to get it. It'll take fun away from the game.

Also, tomorrow, who would be keen to test Evangel's invasion map? (I'm bored guys, I really want to play a different type of Invasion)

What time would you be available, Flaw? (EST?)

Oh, btw, Bungie said they don't see it as boosting. They will only take measures if you are caught using a bot or w/e. It's the same as, say, farming in AQW. You just keep doing the same thing over and over again, you know?

Besides, the rank-cap is Lt. Colonel Grade 3, so it's not like you'll get everything and that's it, there's always more armor to be released. (*Is actually hoping for a Hayabusa Remake*)

Boosting is more like going into Rumble Pit with a friend and then allowing each other to kill each other only to earn medals, commendations, and to complete challenges.
