Hmmm... well, TBH, Im not really so into the campaign, I mean its nice but... I know im gonna lose?

We win, in a sense. We delivered "the package". Without NOBLE Team's sacrifices, Master Chief would never have saved the universe.

P.S. I think next Tuesday is reasonable enough time for the post-release Campaign spoiler alert to end. So starting next Tuesday, feel free to talk about the Campaign openly (without spoiler tags).

I felt that all of NOBLE Team's deaths were appropriate. Kat's is ironic, if you think about it.

You sort of expect what would happen in the end to happen. I kinda wish there was a "happy ending" version for Noble 6, or at least Jorge.

What do you think happens of Jun?

Yeah I agree Flaw, I mean: the player spends all that time working on the char, makinbg it look awesome, it kinda becomes you? and then Noble dies... If anyone were to play matchmaking, get a high rank and really expensive auguments... then they start campagain and...

The re-issue of "The Ghosts of Onyx" might clean up a few missing plot points. "The Fall of Reach" re-issue has a bunch of extra stuff in the back that kinda adds to the events up to the first mission in Halo: Reach. So I'm guessing the other books will have some extra stuff in there.

Why wouldn't we? The chances of 343 Industries making a fourth Halo game are roughly 100%.

By fourth Halo game, what I meant was a "Halo 4". And if you want to get technical, a new game called Halo 4 would be the seventh installment of the franchise.

And also, not Bungie = Not Good? 343 Industries is under microsoft's control (just like Bungie was when they made Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3), and is made up of many former Bungie employees. I doubt it'll suck. Who knows? It might be as good as Combat Evolved. I guess we'll see.

Problem is with a idea of "Halo 4", is that there is no-one to fight.
Flood? Destroyed on Halo.
Covenant? Lost their leader and is most likely shattered.

Only plausible enemy left is Human rebels. And how could that possibly be fun? Super soldier and marines vs. Guys with stolen weapons, who are most likely losing.

But I think we should go back to talking Halo Reach now.

Halo Wars counts just like all the novels, comic books, and animations count. Although there are a few canonical inconsistencies, newer canon replaces old canon to avoid contradictions.

For example: The Flood weren't encountered by man until Halo: C.E., but Halo Wars has the Flood being encountered years before. The Spirit of Fire never made it back to UNSC-controlled space. So therefore, there's no documented evidence of the Flood.

At the end of Halo 3, we see MC and Cortana floating towards an unknown, Forerunner planet. It might be Onyx, or a completely new technology. It could be a planet made by the Precursors.

Just because the Prophets are dead, doesn't mean the Covenant are completely dissolved, there's still the Brutes and more Prophets to take their place. The galaxy is a big place, so there's bound to be more alien species out there.

Reach is BUNGIE's last Halo, at least for the next 10 years. 343 will do just fine with the franchise.
