Need help with a little thing called love

I can't believe I'm actually about to ask TR about this but...
Okay, so there's this ambiguously gendered human being I like. Yeah yeah, I know it must come as a surprise to you all that I'm not a cold and emotionless robot. Just roll with it for now, mmk?
So two weeks before Christmas we were photoshopping up some GFX together and I decided to take out my pen tool and get a little innovative for xem. So I get out my pen tool and I made some unrounded rectangles and then I coloured them green which if I recall correctly is xyrs favourite colour. Then I showed it to xem and asked xem out, only to have xem tell me that I was too web 1.0 for xem and I was rejected.
I've been thinking of upgrading from Photoshop CS4 Extended to Photoshop CS5 Extended because I really like xem and I want xem to feel the same way about me. My question is, do you guys think this is a good idea?
