How does stabbing and tearing your brain open with you own skull fragments only knock you out? Also congratulations Cial on your victory and accomplishment of being the wife you always dreamed of being!

I am so confused.. Is this actually a game everyone is in on?
Or is it just Pere playing and making up the stories as he goes along.

If it's a game, I want in. A minor or something.. or some Old Wise Guy that everyone looks to for help in their darkest days, but all I give to them is hopeless riddles (y)

Pere plays it then writes about what's happening. We just pick a dwarf to be named after us.

Its a version of dwarf fortress that Pere plays himself and makes up an extra story to go with. Sign up as a character to get in. Look up the jobs on the wiki for dwarf fortress, then pick one.

I know it sounds really lame, but just reading about it is kinda fun. Much better than playing it because playing it sucks.

Kao called that a few posts above you. Or at least I think that's what he (and Vamp for that matter) meant when he said said "minor".

For everyone's knowledge.

Miner: Someone who extracts minerals from the Earth.
Minor: Of little importance.

Peregrine "Doublemace" Falcon's Journal, 5th of Slate.
Erik decided to whip up something snazzy in celebration of us being attacked by the forgotten beast ngethac (BEWARE ITS WEBS). It's a bauxite coffer.

TR's Cave Adventures - Page 3 Hv6low

TR's Cave Adventures - Page 3 2r780li

Great job Erik. This will be very helpful.

Peregrine "Doublemace" Falcon's Journal, 7th of Felsite.
Some jerk miner that came in one of the migrant waves named MrSebi pulled a prank today while we were getting some bolts and a quiver ready for taking down that forgotten beast, waltzing into the caverns and screaming that it had gotten loose and was killing everyone. The place went into a panic, which is when the light dragon showed up after breaking down the door, followed immediately by worm men and muskox, and all our livestock running around helplessly.

It was total chaos. We managed to cage all the baddies. and repasture our livestock, but we wont be killing the forgotten beast today. Way to go Sebi.

Peregrine "Doublemace" Falcon's Journal, 17th of Felsite.
Moglins, elves and brother adventurers showed up today to trade with us. We gave them some crappy crafts we had lying around I had ordered a potter to start making last year and they exchanged them for food, booze, cages for our traps, wood, metal and other helpful things. A diplomat showed up too to write down what we wanted for next year when they came back, but left without asking because of the forgotten beast. They said they were "displeased". What a helpful person.

I killed the beast with the crossbow the subpar bowyer made. One shot. It's either that this is a really super good crossbow or that Ngethac is a really super lame megabeast. Either way, felt good.

Peregrine "Doublemace" Falcon's Journal, 8th of Galena.
Remember the potter I mentioned from last year? He went into a fey mood and whipped up this crazy thing. It's a ring with rings.

TR's Cave Adventures - Page 3 245ndhx

TR's Cave Adventures - Page 3 I5r8t4

Snaketongue: How's THAT for crafts?
Peregrine: Why are there rings on a ring?
Snaketongue: One ring for each finger.
Peregrine: Wha... But I... GET OUT OF MY FACE.

Some migrants showed up as well. An eight person band led by Darre the ranger. Apparently they're an actually decent animal trainer so I've ordered those two dragons we've caught tamed.
