V2: Flesh and Bone OOC

Felix. There are very few functioning computers. None with internet capability. Same with cell phones, none of them work and are useless. There's a point for that, which will be revealed later in the story. There are no working vehicles, as you probably noticed, besides the subway.

Then How on earth do we have twitter, and what happened to all the vehicles?

I'd assume the vehicles run with gas and there's no gas around, therefore you can't use them.

There's almost no gas, for one. And subways work on electricity. And the characters don't technically have Twitter. I really have no idea how it would work, but having character Twitters sounds alright if it's used more like a journal thing to post thoughts. As far as tying it into the RP, it's almost impossible.

Name: Felix martin

Remaining memories / history: None. He initially woke up in the morning and tried to remember the day before, but could remember nothing. He tried to remember and delve deeper into earlier memories, but to no avail. Worried, Felix noticed a Pc with a twitter account that was called Felix. Instinctively hitting refresh, he was greeted by a no connection page, and cursed to himself for effectively clearing the cache that could've explained what on earth is happening. Felix walked outside to get a scope of the situation and was greeted by woman dead on the street with a gun to her mouth and dried blood around her head. This was bigger than he first anticipated. Felix slowly, mustering most of his energy not to gag, pried the gun out of her hands and inspected the magazine. Full minus one bullet. Doesn't take a genius to work out where it went. Felix looked behind the house he awoke in that he assumed was his own. and could see a green fog in the distance. While it mightn't of been fatal, or not even be moving. He didn't risk taking his chances. He sprinted back inside the house, and took a set of keys from the desk with the computer consistently displaying no connection from it. Felix almost didn't notice the bag, and would've missed it if he hadn't almost tripped over it. He decided to take it. without even checking what was inside. Felix flicked the unlock switch and saw a red sedan's lights blink. Jumping inside he threw the bag onto passenger side seat and attempted to drive. The car wouldn’t even start. Felix grabbed the bag and ran. Through bushes over fences, nothing was impossible. He kept on running until the fog was out of sight.

Current standing (where you are, your goals): Odysseus. While Felix was running away from the fog, he ran around a corner and ran face first into a scavenger whose name he can’t remember, took him to Ulysses. When asked his name, He blurted out Felix Martin. Where did the name Martin come from? Felix thought to himself.
Clothing/armor/style: He has a strong leather coat found in the pack. Which is difficult to cut through and could offer some protection from a low fall. That and denim jeans are all he awoke with. Upon joining with Ulysses and the others in the system, he was given a gun holster to carry The pistol he found they goes around from his shoulder to his waist diagonally. He also has a Survival knife in yet another holster on his belt.

Physical Appearance: Felix’s age is undetermined. But it could be anywhere from 17-25 He has dark brown hair and clean shaven face. He doesn’t have a stocky build, and appears to be fairly skinny, but can pack a bit of a punch. Also he’s male for all you jerks out there.

Weapons / Abilities: Felix doesn’t carry much at hand, but he does have the pistol he found from the dead body. He was also issued a fairly standard 5” blade survival knife. When he was shown to his room where he would being staying he met his neighbour, Martine Helms. Who quickly greeted him before she had to get to her duties mentioning that she won’t stick around for long, as she’s constantly moving about. Felix laid the bag out on the worn bed and examined the goods inside. What caught his eye first was a small touch screen phone. As well as a charger! He would like to use it, but its locked. Felix gave himself a mental note to wipe the device so he could use it. There was also a small torch, and a book. “The outsiders” interesting. Felix thought to himself as he glossed over the blurb on the back. That and some socks was all that was left.

Other: What do you guys think of my character sheet? I tried to tell it in short story-ish things. But I might’ve over done it. My profession will be explored in My 1st post. That’s the idea anyway. And I’m keeping the phone, but it’s goanna be used to trade if we ever get some sort of currency.

I'd like to let know that as the new GM(I will get you for this, CC, even if I have to track you down by your IP to bust your head in), I'm not as draconic-like when it comes to your characters.

All I care about are two things. First, you can RP the character you have created. Second, that you enjoy RP'ing the character you have created. Because if there's one thing I know, playing a character type that doesn't fit you won't end well. Even if you can stomach it and play within limitations, it'll show in the RP itself.

Big god damn hero -type characters can be entertaining, so if you want to play one, go ahead. Just don't overdo it, because by now you should have noticed that this RP doesn't exactly support over-the-top actions and characters. Normal people doing awesome things? That can pass. We just haven't had any spot to do awesum things yet.

Another thing I'd like to say is that if you're playing a combat-specced character, don't be afraid to keel over and die. Have a new character ready just in case, but go out with a bang. Character death can be just as good as character life when it comes to RP's, and this isn't a contest between RP'ers and the GM in "who can make it the furthest." We're here to play with our IMAGINATIOOOOOOOOOOOOON and maybe have a few fun moments with our characters, after all. Even in a bleak wasteland full of hoboes and zombies.

And Felix, since CC obviously knows what sort of characters work here I can't vouch for your character just yet. Just that the bio looks good.

You use "he" throughout the entire post to refer to your character, and still you must stress that he is a male. Were you planning a "and for all you jerks out there, he's a she" at the end as a TWEEEEEEEST?
