Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Many respected authorities recommend that practically all singular nouns, including those ending with a sibilant sound, have possessive forms with an extra s after the apostrophe so that the spelling reflects the underlying pronunciation. Examples include Oxford University Press, the Modern Language Association, the BBC and The Economist.[18] Such authorities demand possessive singulars like these: Senator Jones's umbrella; Tony Adams's friend.

Either way is acceptable. I prefer that way. Both are highly prevalent. In America the trend has turned toward this way in the recent decade or so. I would say the English world as a whole, but I can not vouch for that.
I will definitely change some of the name references, however.

Yep.
Edited my post, some spelling and grammar mistakes were obviously made, (didn't really proofread all too well). I got most of them.

I'll believe it when I see it. Also, if you're (anybody participating) writing a post with intent to post soon, let us know so we can wait to post ours.

Probably going to post in a few hours. Find some time to write when there's no one distracting me, proofread, all that good stuff.

Well I'll just toss in a quick post then, before Riff here.

I will admit, it feels weird to me.
We'll see what the future has in store for my usage of apostrophes.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
It's good. Just a bit short. Max said he'd be a while, you could expand or let it play out. Your call. I wouldn't mind reading more, I liked it.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Short? Hell, you're putting pression on me. I usually try to make long posts, but sometimes they aren't as long as I think they are.
Back to typing, shouldn't take that long. It's likely that Cial and I will meet up.
EDIT: Posted.

I'm dropping out of this RP, realistically I never would have gotten around to posting anyway. I'm sorry CC.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Cool.
Also, CIAL IS GIVEN GM POWERS TO REPLACE PEREGRINE AS MY STAND-IN.
Another thing, there was an issue as to bunnying. I believe that controlling others' characters is generally fine, if it is with their consent and usually planned. So do with that what you will. I tend to believe that faction leaders should have more expanded power, so that's why I'm letting Cial run his faction that will be soon to come.
Any objections will actually be noted.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
I'll post. At some point. When, is a surprise(read as: I have no idea, maybe after hangover).
I'd also like to tell people in advance that if you think your post is short, but it also has everything you wanted to tell the crowd, FOR GODS SAKE DON'T START BLOATING IT UP BECAUSE CC IS WRITING NOVELS OVER HERE.
There's nothing worse than padding in RP posts done for the sake of adding length to the post. If you do it, I'll hunt you down and shove the god damn keyboard down your throat until your excrement comes labelled with what you've eaten, written in font size 18 Arial.
EDIT: Looks like I'll be waiting until I'm gonna post. Probably by the time CC has his guy move in to the bar and stuff. No use posting anything until then.

Xusha will post her char soon, I believe she could be starting another faction.
Altera is working on a post now, taking place in the system.
After that I will move my character to the pub.

So it seems as if Fastwolfen wants to join my shantytown.
Or possibly get stabbed by my machete.
Either should be fun.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Note on the System, since Cial eventually plans on possibly attacking it: It's about 2000 people strong. All able bodied males and non-mothering females are soldiers, unless they have talents as engineers or doctors etc.
There are about 50 that serve many different purposes.
There are about 500 soldiers, called the Guard. 150-200 of them serve as actual guards of subway entrances, the rest able to be deployed at any time, otherwise serving in other sectors. Among them are the scavengers that retrieve supplies and manpower, and those that enforce the peace in each station.
Then there are about 800 civilians that work to keep the system going by cooking, maintenance, etc. There are about 150 specialists made up of doctors, engineers, etc.
There are roughly 50 highly trained combat specialists that are personally commanded by Ulysses (unless Flaw joins in which case he will command some). They are armored much like a SWAT team and have access to the best weaponry. Each squad of guards is led by one of them.
The few hundred left are made of children and mothers, sick and disabled. Seeing as the subways are so large, many more can fit into there, though.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Nice post.
As you guys might have imagined, skills are not lost with memories that were wiped. That's why combat specialists still know combat, doctors can still... doctor, etc.

Re: V2: Flesh and Bone OOC
Working on my next post.
Also had a rather silly idea... character twitter accounts.
I had one when I was part of a Star Wars RP, not as formal as the posts I was doing, but it was great for making me think in character.
